I don’t know what I’d do NOW without my Apple crate… iPhone (I adore it), Powerbook G4 (“Ansel” is my MAN! ain’t i lucky?) my iPhone service (because it’s bundled with my bus. partners’ its on $35 per month for all the access and time I want) my Mac builds all my business and creative needs. I am so gone MAC…..! I’ll have to wait to get this … don’t know if I need it… I love real books. Kindel / readers… they bug me. Though it doesn’t stop me from using my iPhone in bed at night to goof around on FB or read comments from blogs…or fool around with one of my 111 apps. geesh. Ok, I’m a techy goof.

Mike, I carry the kindle everywhere. Even when I’m reading a hard book, I keep the kindle with me for backup. I’m a fickle reader, and at any given time have 4 or 5 books I’m working my way through. Some I finish, some I never do. But the Kindle is always there for a download when I get a wild hair for something. I think the iPad will have a hard time competing in the ebook market, given the iPad’s monthly fees for the 3G network version. Me, I HATE monthly fees. I want a blackberry in the worst way, but I don’t want to pay monthly fees, so I have a pre-paid cell phone instead. I’m sure apple will sell plenty of the pads, though.
I have a Blackberry Mrs. Bee and you do have that pesky $35 a month fee, but it is an invaluable tool nonetheless and it is a Verizon product so there are few connectivity problems.
I dunno, if it weren’t so bloody expensive…for now, I’m pretty happy with my Kindle. The apps just make me nuts, anyway.

Well they have finally “unveeled” the new Apple Invention, which of course I will have to buy because I love everything Apple, but not the i-phone, at least not until Verizon gets to be the wireless provider. AT&T sucks the big one when it comes to universal connectivity.
