Federal workers in Virginia, use Federally mandated day-off to complain against Federal Government?
Yes Virginia, there is a Federal Government
Today in Richmond, Virginia, some Federal workers are using the last day of their Federally mandated long weekend, to protest against the Federal government. Tea Party groups from across the state are gathering to lobby against government involvement in their lives.
Apparently protection is needed from being forced to have a day off in Virginia.
And if that wasn’t enough fun for you, the Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL), hardcore 2nd Amendment people, are using their day off, a day honoring a man, Martin Luther King, noted for his non-violent approach to protest, are meeting to lobby and meet with legislators about gun rights. Many will be carrying arms and along with their families, will have a rally on the capitol clock tower green.
