Even Nasty Priests’ Can Be a POPE!

Read Time:4 Minute, 25 Second
Traditionally, I think nasty is a prerequisite.

I’m not just speaking about orders of priests’ here; clearly demonstrated in Boston and all through Ireland, many nuns were eager to perform alike atrocities against… children.  Innocent, hapless youth thrust into the hands of hell under the guise of ‘angels’.   Hell on earth… who better to create it than the  largest institution that has laid its’ foundations upon the fear of it?   In order to protect its’ priests’ from prosecution, the Catholic Church has hidden information from authorities on a global scale for more than forty years… all done with an atrocious indifference to the ongoing pedophilia of their priests (and in some places) their nuns.   In most cases, the accused priests continued on as priest and predator able to continue victimizing the youth of their parish.  And that brings us to the Pope.  Ratzinger.  Accused of cover up [Sexual abuse was actively hidden and aided by Cardinal Joesph Ratzinger as archbishop of Munich and Freising who ignored repeated warnings regarding a priest accused of pedophilia, one Peter Hullerman.] and just arrogant enough to throw a few crumbs of solace at the Irish people this last weekend, only using the word “sorry” once in 17 pages of pure bullshit dedicated to pacifying the congregations as the recompense monies are being accounted for.  Ireland, perhaps a last content in loyalty to the Vatican, has been officially ‘dissed’ by a Pope who himself is guilty of cover up … if not complicit as a pedophile himself.  Lets face it… do you for a moment doubt that the Catholic Church cares more for hiding behind its own skirts than it does for the children systemically defiled for generations by it’s minions?  Think again!  It’s time to wake up!  Along with crushing, hanging and burning ‘heretics’ or simple village healers, they have committed the largest pedophile atrocity in history.  Ever!   Does it not make you pause?!!  For Christs’ sake?  The avoidance of responsibility is stunning!

At the beginning of this century in Boston, Cardinal Bernard Law was exposed as complicit in ‘covering up’ the pedophilia of parish priests over a period of thirty years.   They put the ‘frangelican’ monk in his stead, O’Malley, who has actually done  his best to ‘sweep it all under the rug’ as ongoing police and prosecutor investigations continued; because you know, the number of victims became so massive., $85 million massive.  Now the Vatican is doing the massive cover up for the sitting Vicar of Christ… Pope Benedict XVI.  Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, The Czech Republic, France, Haiti, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zeland, Peru, The Philippines, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, The United Kingdom, The United States (including Alaska)…. all of these countries have active cases against the Catholic Church for pedophilia.  Germany is just another that is beginning its’ look into the claims of victims. This is a rather large pattern, don’t you think?  In each place, with no exceptions, each parish involved, has purposely coordinated / perpetuated the criminality of their priests.  On all levels of authority.  To the top!  The church likes to spin pedophilia as a ‘social issue’…. it IS NOT A SOCIAL ISSUE, IT IS A CRIME AND THE CHURCH IS PACKED FULL WITH CRIMINALS. Can we comprehend that?  Ignorance in the face of generations of atrocity against children, CHILDREN!, is a real sin… for the arrow is missing the mark in your brain if you can not connect the church’s guilt in all of this criminal activity.  And they need to be held responsible for it!

It is a global epidemic perpetuated by a ‘moral authority‘ that would deny charity to the poor and needy because a community wishes to extend civil rights to homosexuals.  A ‘moral authority’ waging a war against children and their future well being and sanity that continues to condemn any use of contraception or sexual protection (that may stop the spread of deadly disease)… but it does increase the numbers of children and you must wonder…. in all intelligence; why?  Why do we need to overpopulate?  Is there another doctrinal agenda at work here?   Yes, I am serious! With all the massive cases of abuse and criminal activity…. thousands upon thousands, the world over; only a few dozen have made into the respective court systems.  It’s incredible!

The Catholic Church is in a massive atrophy.  Millions of ‘the faithful’ have chosen to leave the church in the past nine years.   People are ‘deregistering’… there is an official group:
Count Me Out
who are recognizing that this archaic and crumbling institution has abandoned any resemblance of ‘moral authority‘ and it’s agents are relentlessly depraved, bankrupt of ethics, criminally complicit and all of this is prompting them to finally go out and determine their own, personally defined, moral authority.

I am not fan of monotheism.  However; I do not think every nun or priest is guilty of the degenerate Catholicism protected at the ‘heart’ of the faith.  Catholicism is not just fading, it’s atrophying moment by moment.  The Vatican feels it… right in the pocket…which frankly, it where their real authority is maintained.  I do not condemn people of ‘good faith’ or for pursuing their own faith.   I do condemn, actively, Catholicism… and I don’t rely any further than this for just causation.  Would you?

Gwen – I have said this on Bee’s blog, I was raised in the Catholic church, 12 years of school, the whole business. I came into contact with priests every week and nuns every day. Compared to the nuns the priests were great guys, I have not one nano-second of memory of any abuse, suggested abuse or even heard of any until recent years. My years in the church was in the 50s and early 60s. Times have changed and it seems many pedophiles have infiltrated the church, although I am sure they were always there, but not in such numbers. Bottom line: You don’t screw around with innocents, or you pay the price.

Holte: It’s generational, systemic globally. It’s an ongoing atrocity. There is no step back or forgiveness of the Church, for me. My cousin Jerry is a Jesuit in the NE. I treasure his debates with me. We share a ‘spirit’ for it… and he is fine man, a fine priest in the sense of what spiritual guide might attempt to be in the flesh. I hope you see where I’m going. It would never occur to me to insult you or your faith my friend. Ever.
The kirk, however
I have some dark moments with.
and
They have spurred me into dark places where I have been challenged to define the Light and for that I am grateful to it. Always. I’ve know nuns who were nastier than any padres, too. But more so, I’ve can remember a couple who were pure Light workers. 🙂

Gwen – I don’t feel insulted, I escaped the grip of organized religion over 40 years ago. I just wanted to relate my personal experience of growing up around people of the cloth.

If they keep covering it up nothing will be done per usual. I read yesterday it is happening with the Boy Scouts here too. I just do not and will never be able to understand people that prey on children. I can’t wrap my mind around why a person would think this is okay.

The same things with some of the nuns that kept those “bad” girls locked up. I watched this movie a while ago, The Magdalene Sisters about some of the things done to girls in the name of all that is good. I have got less than zero time for these religions, that purport to be on the side of good and can still manage to do all these bad things that are just not acceptable in society. Well not accepted by most of us anyway.

=^..^=

Jessica, It’s a global, ongoing event now. The church is being brought to accounts in so many countries, in tandem, with fiscal consequences that will probably put an end to their largesse.
I have two friends in Boston who are recovering from priest abuse. What really fucked me up was when Cardinal Liar Law told the press that it ‘was a shame so many gay men came into the priesthood’ as if it were a ‘gay problem’. I wrote a piece in the Phoenix blasting him, saying that being gay and being a pedophile was distinctly different. Pedophilia is a priestly preference. (What I publicly said and I got some blow back for it.) I’ll never forget what it did to my friend to tell his young son why he was suing the Catholic Church. And how the priests have made so many….SO MANY! doubt their own goodness. My heart breaks and boils. I feel strongly in the matter. Yes, I was received a classical education from the penguins and padres… until 6th grade. I am an animist. I have a full spiritual life… and part of that was inspired by the rebellion within me naturally against the ‘church’. 🙂
