Alan Colmes’ Interview with Tea Party Leader, Michael “Break Windows” Vanderboegh (audio)

Read Time:53 Second

On March 26, 2010 Alan Colmes interviewed Michael Vanderboegh, a Teaparty Leader and former militiaman. Mr. Vanderboegh takes credit for being the motivating impetus behind the window breaking of congressional district offices that occurred in the wake of the passage of health care.

In typical Teaparty fashion, Mr. Vanderboegh possesses a visceral dislike of government in general. Ironically (an irony completely lost on Mr. Vanderboegh, apparently) his primary source of income is in the form of disability paid by you, me and everyone else that pays their taxes.

Alan does a commendable job of asking the right questions and letting Mr. Vanderboegh speak for himself. As you listen to the interview, and Mr. Vanderboegh’s not so veiled incitements to violence, ask yourself, what would the United States and the world become in the event that the Teaparty actually became a party–or more likely completely hijacked the Republican party–and took control of the executive and legislative branches of our government, which they despise so much for being mystically and inherently evil.

Listen to the interview here.

‘Mr. Vanderboegh possesses a visceral dislike of government in general’….I like him already…there’s something to like about politicians? News to me!

….milk no sugar please…;-)

He is threatening to kill people. He is not to be admired. He is a militant scum bag.

4-Dinners, any one who is preoccupied with “a visceral dislike of government in general” is full of foolish crap. In these days it’s becoming dangerous crap. I have a visceral love of government. Especially good government. That’s why I vote: to keep the fools as far as possible from city, state or national office. I do other lawful things, too, in pursuit of the same goal.

Oh! Gee! And “Lawyer”, great post~!
Gad, I’m not awake yet, am I?

You know, Vig, I think it’s probable that our Homeland Security Dept is observing them just like domestic terrorists…similarly as they do the anti-abortion groups. I don’t even write my greatest fear of what these tea bagging bastards might do in violent action… nope, no way. Whether it be group focused or individual focused violence… I don’t even want to physically speculate.
The actions and agendas of this group are shameful and abhorrent. And they have no kindness… none at all. Take the fellow who was throwing $ bills onto the Professor with disability, he says he doesn’t know what come over him… yet he resumes his hatred. The shameful acts of hate on the steps of the House as House Dems walked through them to vote on HCR.
But I keep seeing the %pts of how many of these folks are out there and I can’t really believe it… it seems wrong. There can not be that large a percentage of conservatives that are identified this way…????

It seems logical to think that, if I, and not Michael Vanderboegh, went on air, and pretty much threatened the ruling political party with violence, I would expect a visit from from some very serious men with badges. Why he is getting away with this sort of inflammatory rhetoric? Does he want to be arrested?

I don’t think so Holte, as far as does he want to be arrested. Notice, he wasn’t the one doing the brick throwing. He and people like him, yell in the background like cowards, are not willing to put themselves in front of these things. If he was arrested, I could put money on it, he would be screaming about being persecuted or some such nonsense. Silly Holte, he does not have brown skin and a funny sounding name, so he is not doing anything wrong.

It was appropriate to be anti-government when we Americans didn’t have our own government, before our Declaration and War for Independence. That was when it was appropriate to throw into the Boston harbor. But to oppose non-authoritarian government supported and legitimized by free and open elections is idiotic silly, stupid stuff. To stir up angry and raging mobs against lawful government is nihilistic and criminal sedition. If Timothy McVeigh is the Tea Party’s poster boy, than I will argue that Tea Partiers are terrorists.

Ooh you guys should take a look at his website, I did. Some scary people there that call themselves the 3%ers. When I asked in an email, did that mean they only used 3% of their accumulated brain power, I got tons of emails to a hardly ever used email account I use for righty sites telling me to die. Death, destruction, calling me gay, like that is a bad thing or something. I should have been aborted, you get the picture. I won’t give links, because he does not deserve the traffic but there are some crazy people he has posting there. Today his complaint is, people turning in machine guns they have found and why they should just not turn them in, because “we will be needing them soon enough” The crazy is strong with this guy.

Jess, when I cross the canyon, I always leave link to my pages. They very rarely come for a lookaround. Never leave a comment. Rarely they prefer to search out my email and give me their 3%, privately. I would never encourage them through email; I would rather encourage them to stand up on my website and deliver, rather than crawl around in my email.

I will be very surprised if something doesn’t happen in 2 weeks… Apr. 19,… that is the anniversary of Oklahoma City and it seems to resonate with the Tea Baggers, just as it did with McVeigh.

The nut job mentioned in this post, and Tea-Baggers are having big gatherings on that day Annette…All over the country.

See this is where I am all confused, truly. These morons are going out protesting on the 19th with guns to protest what exactly, that they should be allowed to carry guns? Really, what are they protesting? The right to bear arms or arm bears, whatever is already there, so why do they need to protest the right to bear arms or arm bears or even bare arms? Do you see why I would never make it as a talibaggerangelical?

I watched this interview, not as if I had a real choice given that the MSM played it about every 30 minutes for 48 hours, thus giving this looney militant 1000% more coverage than we ever get otherwise. Regardless, this guy is scary, because there are a LOT of people who will applaud his words, and pray for his actions. I can’t remember a time when our country seemed so fragile, except perhaps in the 60’s, e.g. war protests. I have to wonder where this will end.

Lawyer, that’s where I figure this will end up – another Oklahoma City, and that will probably cool quite a few of them down real quick.

It probably won’t cool any of them off Bee. They will just say, oh who could have predicted(…) as they seem to do when their little frankenbabies come back to bite them on the butt.

Seah Hannity (I think) gave some sort of speech to a bunch of Tea-Baggers and when he somehow mentioned “Timothy McVeigh” the whole bunch of them applauded.

Here is some video of it for you all to enjoy, only about 30 seconds or so. There is some controversy about whther or not he was being sarcastic because a few days earlier he had been railing on dems calling the teabangelicals Timothy McVeigh wannabes. I just know Insanity is a smarmy little man that riles people up for coin. He cannot possibly believe the stuff he spews.
