David Shuster Suspended “indefinitely” from MSNBC
MSNBC has suspended David Shuster — again.
But unlike his 2008 suspension over comments that the Hillary Clinton campaign was “pimping out” Chelsea Clinton, which lasted two weeks, this suspension is an indefinite one.
“David has been suspended indefinitely,” an MSNBC spokesperson said Tuesday morning.
It was revealed last week that Shuster had filmed a pilot for CNN; at the time, the network had said he would be “punished appropriately.” After getting “ripped a new one” by boss Phil Griffin by phone over the weekend, Shuster met with Griffin in the office Monday.
Shuster also came under fire from the network after a tweet he sent to conservative activist James O’Keefe. “@JamesOKeefeIII a) you are not a journalist b) the truth is you intended to tap her phones c) it’s a felony d) you will go to prison,” he wrote. The network deemed that tweet “inappropriate” and muzzled him on Twitter soon thereafter.
Below, review some of Shuster’s more memorable MSNBC moments:

Joe Scarborough and Shuster had an on air issue with each other one morning during the primaries. While Joe often seems to me a egotistical twit from their exchange I gathered Shuster is a bit of a primping diva.
Maybe one of the qualifications for being able to perform in front of millions of people on television is to think your shit smells like a expensive perfume.
Or to like the smell of shit.

Granted, it’s not what I want from an actual journalist (irony forthcoming below) but come on:
“@JamesOKeefeIII a) you are not a journalist b) the truth is you intended to tap her phones c) it’s a felony d) you will go to prison,”
that’s just stating the obvious on Shuster’s part. Griffin’s an ass for calling him out on that remark.
Those horse’s asses at Fox get away with so much worse, I’d rather Shuster go to CNN. Ailes doesn’t need anymore afternoon handpuppets.
If he drinks vodka prior to opening his mouth he must be forgiven.
If not just hang him!
Old Beaner we must gather at the Old Bailey; for there we will find the guilty bastards [who have had their fair trial] and then we hang them.
They need to round up all the closet republicans on that network and either give them their own show or send them to Fox so I can ignore them.
I read that Fox employs ONLY Republicans but I wasn’t able to verify it. Then again it wouldn’t surprise me.
Business is business no matter what kind of business the business is.
Very True Bill.
Shuster used to work for Fox, that fairy dust seems hard to shake off.
I hadn’t known that until I started researching this story.
Shuster’s a dick/bozo. I wouldn’t even hire him to cover the local drunk tank. Good riddance to him, I say.
I agree Will!
