It is a treasure to listen to someone who has such a mastery of speech. I have been a fan of his ever since discovering the old “Wooster and Jeeves” series which are hysterically funny.
I wasn’t aware of his speech and seeing these 2 clips was quite the reward. I couldn’t agree more with the content!

Stephen Fry is one of the most articulate people on the planet and he usually expresses himself with great humor, even with this serious subject he managed to get a laugh out of the audience. Go Jeeves baby.
The Catholic Church can never atone for its crimes.Never. When the Lizard Pope was in Brazil, he spoke of Spain and Portugal adopting Indians thru baptism, purifying them, answering their longing for the true path rather than conquering them.According to the Lizard Pope foreign culture was never imposed on Indians.
Yet I still go to mass at least a couple times a year.Go figure.
I love Stephen Fry more than the entire cast of Monty Python plus Hugh Laurie put together. Which is REALLY saying something. Brilliant, articulate, witty- makes me wish I were a gay man.
