It is an honor to welcome Kit (Keep it Trill) to MMA. She is the proprietor of the very fine blog Keep it Trill.
Trill, I am sure, means many things, but I really liked this definition:
In the fictional Star Trek universe, the Trill are a species of symbiotic lifeforms native to the Alpha Quadrant. Their home world is also Trill. Trill is a very sparsely populated planet with only a few million inhabitants. Its oceans are predominantly blue.
She will be dipping her toes into our blue waters. So let’s make sure she gets well and truly dunked. Welcome Kit.

Trill, by the way, is slang for “true and real”. The nick name has been my guiding principle as a blogger.
BTW, I cut my teeth on Star Trek at a pretty young age, and the Alpha Quadrant and it’s pretty blue oceans sound just like the planet I’d enjoy having as a vacation home.
