Mawwage! Oh, Mawwage! (Video)
Nothing says eternal bliss like I do. And nothing says, “screw you,” like, I do, when the waltz across the clouds comes crashing to the ground.
The Priest: Do you take this man/woman to be your husband/wife through all kinds of insufferable hell and turmoil not matter what?
The Infatuated Couple: I do.
[Exit The Priest and one half of The Infatuated Couple; Enter The Judge.]
The Judge: Regarding this here decree for the dissolution of this marriage, do you swear that the testimony that you are about to give is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God?
One very disgruntled, vengeful, soon to be divorcee: I do.
I do, in the context of marriage, is an alpha and omega, fateful bookends, a joker on the left and a joker on the right. And nothing illustrates the point more poignantly than THIS interpretive dance in two acts.
Note: Less any esteemed reader of this post should interpret this on a much deeper level than it was intended to be, let it be known that The Lawyer remains in exceptionally good graces with Mrs. Lawyer aka She Who Must Be Obeyed, and intends to keep it that way, especially if he ever wants to be in her amorous embrace anytime soon.

That wedding dance is a great advertisement for creativity and friendship. They must have had a ball preparing for that.
Congrats to your nephew on his graduation. I love that wedding video, just makes you smile watching it doesn’t it? Princess Bride, one of the best movies made ever.
=^..^=
Today I watched my nephew mount the steps in his cap and gown and I was so proud, so happy, so delighted for him. We cheered and I video’ed the event and well… you know … you been there. Every senior today, all 585 of them, were beautiful, stunning representations of all good possibilities for a newness that makes it all better and I get pretty mushy about pomp and circumstance as such. I am a firm believer in the temple of ‘we are each of us, GOD(DESS)! Jill and Kevin ALWAYS GET ME UP OFF MY ASS TO CELEBRATE the same way. Their ‘Wedding Dance’ I can watch again and again. I think of it as the essential best of AMERICAN. Ta to MN and the folks up that way. Ta to you Mr. Lawyer for putting a wonderful exclamation point to a pretty great day….
!! that we all might find a moment with someone or someones like the pure moments of living on that Wedding Dance video. Gee.
*i never watch the other one… how could it compare? LOL*
