Pope-Gay Marriage Insidious-People Must Oppose It

Read Time:59 Second

This Pope has balls, you have to give him that.  For centuries Catholic priests have been molesting children and the church has covered it up.  Despite that however the Pope has the temerity to criticize the lifestyles of others.  What hypocrisy!  Here is the full story:

Pope Benedict seized an opportunity following a massive Mass in Portugal yesterday to slam abortion and gay marriage as among the “most insidious and dangerous challenges that today confront the common good.” Some 500,000 people turned out to participate in the Mass at one of Catholicism’s holiest shrines in Fatima, a turnout Vatican officials say proves that the abuse scandals haven’t deterred the faithful.

Benedict later hailed Catholics’ efforts to promote a family model based on an “indissoluble marriage between a man and woman,” and called opposition to abortion and same-sex marriages “essential elements in the building of the civilization of love,” AP reports. Fatima became a shrine after the Virgin Mary allegedly appeared to shepherd children there in 1917 and revealed visions of the future. The “third secret” reportedly concerned the attempted assassination of Pope John Paul II, and, Benedict hinted yesterday, other troubles currently facing the church.

Relax Gwendolyn. The Catholic Church has been an identifiable entity since sometime in the fourth century. In the last 35 years it has been on a big time decline thanks in part to rigid assholes like Pope Benedict. Becoming an atheist isn’t going to change that.

It’s reform is necessary or it’s extinction inevitable. Are we going to drag the Pope from the dark ages because we’re angry? Ain’t gonna happen. But it’s going to take another generation at least to weed out the weanie heads like Benedict.

And what is “SAS”? Forgive my lack of knowing what stuff is.

I would imagine that the Catholic Church has always recognized modernity as a threat to its institution and coffers. Instead of growing up it has chosen to wage war against the inevitability of the future. The Church dug its heals into the soil of the middle ages and has never relented.

You know, I’m kinda stunned…
is is SAS?
Authority? on Fatima? God’s will? What bullshit! When will humanity begin to take responsibility for the SELF and jetison this monotheism sickness described as ‘god’s will’?
You do get it, right? That this fellow hanging in robes dripping with the blood of innocents (how’s that for classical EDU?) just condemned actions that he apparently thinks are also responsible for the ‘bad behavior’ of his priests? They are criminals. CRIMINALS. Condemning those who are NOT?

Or am I totally out of line… and it’s SAS? Am I just so fucked up emotionally mentally over the compelling crisis overwhelm of all that’s going on that I’ve lost it altogether?

Look friends. As one of the few admitted Roman Catholics left among the left, I think I have a little more authority to speak on Fatima’s secrets and Pope Benedict. My sources tell me that aside from winning Russia over to the Virgin Mary, the Pope folowing the one who lived through an assassination attempt would disregard any notion of human biology and logic in favor of believing what his close minded, backward thinking mentors told him. He would interpret God’s will as what he thought new or distasteful.

Pope Benedict, like Judas, is only adhering to the path laid for him. To hate him is unfair.

Not very ‘Catholic’ of you Truth…
All due respect to you as my blog friend…

I’ll despise who he is and what he is complicit in for the well being and future of children… how’s that? I’ll just choose one reason and leave the truckload to the side for the moment.

The Holy Father (peace be upon him) has the look of a man who being violated with a length of rough cut timber.

When I was a school child, I was told the third secret of Fatima was so terrible, the Vatican could not bring itself to tell the faithful the shocking news. I look forward to Dan Brown and Tom Hanks spilling the beans.

Benny in the picture looks like Palpatine, did anybody play with the photoshop on it?

Not that I’m complaining.

It’s natural that He Who Zings Rats would be dead-set against abortion. It reduces the supply of kids to molest.

As for gay marriage, men should not have sex with other men — that’s disgusting — they should rape little boys like God intended.

Mike is right — the Pope has certainly squeezed out a massive Mass of something in front of everybody here.

See only traditional marriage is good for everyone. Here is Betty, America’s very best Christian, telling you about the good old fashioned “opposite sex” marriage and why it should be upheld.

…”Teh gheyz” blabbity blabbity…that confront the common good. Oh yeah because nothing says good like molesting kids, nothing. I swear, the depths get lower and lower everyday.

Oh. Silly me. Just read the post. It’s about same-sex marriage. Please disregard my first comment.

I don’t know about insidious, but gay marriages can be creepy. All that smiling and winking and laughing at inside jokes – it can seem suspicious and conspiratorial. Too much merriment in a couple can really creep me out. To those couples, I say: We get it, you’re happy. Now tone it down.
