Clueless Reagan vs Physicist Carter

Read Time:2 Minute, 12 Second

With [environmentalists’] nonsensical efforts to lock up safer drilling areas, all you’re doing is outsourcing energy development, which makes us more controlled by foreign countries, less safe, and less prosperous on a dirtier planet. Your hypocrisy is showing. You’re not preventing environmental hazards; you’re outsourcing them and making drilling more dangerous.

Extreme deep water drilling is not the preferred choice to meet our country’s energy needs, but your protests and lawsuits and lies about onshore and shallow water drilling have locked up safer areas. It’s catching up with you. The tragic, unprecedented deep water Gulf oil spill proves it.

This is the drivel that Rupublicans and Tea Partiers are spouting in an all out attempt to deflect the attention from the real cause of the latest of their Republican Created Disasters, henceforth known as “RCD’s”…the cause is “Drill Baby Drill“, and they are scampering for cover to hide the truth of this. They were the ones who insisted on pursuing this direction of suppressing all other viable sources of energy and harnessing the resulting energy vacuum into a profitable business enterprise…Big Oil.

They got their big push unfortunately when the Clueless Hollywood Actor (Duh) decided to remove the Solar Panels from the roof of the White House, probable not even knowing what they did, which were put there by a truly intelligent Physicists. Who am I talking about?? The Clueless Hollywood Actor was none other than the poster child for the Republicans, President Ronald Reagan. The brilliant Physicist was none other than President Carter.

In these mens’ approaches to the problem of solving the artificially created thirst for Oil based energy, we see the fundamental difference between the Democratic and Republican parties, with one looking to use technology to quench the thirst and the other mindlessly spouting from every open orifice…Drill Baby Drill. Yes I said…these people are orifices and what comes out of their mouths needs a shovel to scoop up.

One just has to look at Sarah and Bobby trying to sway the public opinion back to guzzling petrol instead of  quickly building a stronger more efficient  Wind and Solar industry. An oil well takes years before we see product on the market…and then of course we do not get that product, it goes for sale on the world market. Wind and solar can be built here and used here…immediately. Why should we re-elect these destroyers of our once pristine Country? You know they will do it again…

Reagan may have been clueless, but you’ve got to give him points for playing second banana in Bedtime for Bonzo.

Tee, as a Neanderthal supporter I take offense. “An asshole holding a primate” would be more fitting. I’ve always pushed an anti-asshole political outlook.

I’m beginning to think that we can not rely on government or the oil companies to change the way they do business. The change will come with us. Until we change the way we use energy nothing will change. First order of business will be to reduce what we use. I understand that Americans use twice as much as any other country. So where is the republican conservatism? I don’t see any of them wanting to increase energy efficiencies or weatherize homes something that would save the U.S. 35% or more.
There’s so many great technologies out there that get little attention. And with rising oil prices and falling solar prices I think you’ll see more people doing their own home installations. It would be nice to fire your utility company.

I would be happy as a clam to solar panel my entire roof, and half the backyard, and sell my energy back to the electric company.

I think we are nearly there…just breathe…and push…keep pushing…

…and again, and again, and again. Palin’s an addled brained twat. I was just looking at pictures of oil covered wildlife, and it is absolutely heart braking. Very tough to look at. And so now, the Republican machine is humming to fabricate why this is none of their fault. They remind me of meth heads the way they constantly blame others for their RCD’s.

In the past, without the “internets” they were able to get away with their lies. This is the time for us to turn back the destruction they have caused, simply by keeping the truth out there.

It’s a good post Tee. She’s just one of those nasty girls who keeps pushing until she goes to far and ends up in jail or disgrace.
She’s so far beneath the dignity of an American woman, it makes no sense to give her and more attention than she gets? That’s how I’m seeing her.

Good post Tee.
I remember that, Reagan having the solar panels removed. Part of his “Morning in America” campaign. You know, no more doom and gloom cause everything was fine. Hand in hand with the “drill baby drill” you mention.

Part of Reagans symbolism was in California as governor, he would make a point of having table grapes at the speakers podium, to mock striking farmworkers.

I recall him making a big states rights speech, I believe it was, in Philadelphia, Mississippi. The site where the three civil right workers were killed? “Mississippi Burning” touched on the terrible incident. Anyway it was the Reagan folks hidden racist message to the south.Worked too.

Oso, we are the frontline to stop them from rewriting history to show these people as shining examples, as they are trying to do with Bush…when we know the opposite to be true.

Once again, El Rushbo is leading his party.. He started this the “greenies” caused the spill because they pushed everyone to drill farther and farther offshore. Now SP picks it up and it will soon be the line they all start saying.

Hey Annette, let them bring it on, because after the last election I am convinced that at least 60% of the country are smart enough to recognize the truth, so I look forward to keeping the light shining on their ignorance.

In a way, Sarah reminds me of Reagan, both very folksy. Both have a way of making people think that there one of them. Both lying their ass off. Both trying to effect the country for at least a half of century. Both seem to be made of Teflon, as nothing bad sticks to them. Both have proven their extremely bad
for our country. Reagan bankrupted us, Sarah helped destroy the planet(drill baby drill).
