One of the defeated Labour politicians is trying to get himself elected as the new leader of the Labour opposition.

His first name is Ed. Nothing unusual in that.

His second name is manna from heaven for all sane people who disbelieve anything that emerges from a politicians mouth as soon as he/she opens it.

His surname is Balls.

I so hope he wins the race for new leader of the Labour party. I can see the headlines now as he blunders around trying to salvage the deserved wreckage that is our left wing Labour party.

Apparently, according to Balls – living up to his name – Labour lost the last election, or, more accurately, were annihilated at the last election as they pretended immigration wasn’t a problem and he, Balls, had constantly told the then Prime Minister, Mad Gordy Brown, to be ‘open and honest’ with the concerned electorate.

Uh? Is this the same Mr Balls who, as a Home Office Minister, cheerfully oversaw the swamping of many of our towns and cities with Asians and African immigrants?

Is this the same former Home Office Minister who accused anyone of questioning the Labour Governments clearly insane immigration policy of being racist or Islamophobic or both?

Of course it is.

Balls by name, Balls by nature.

Jingoism is normally associated with right wing governments behaving in a ‘jingoistic’ manner. Our Maggie (Thatcher) was accused of such behaviour when we quite rightly kicked the crap out of Argentina for invading the Falklands.

Balls then, is quite the novelty. A left wing Jingoist. Good grief! What is the world coming to?

Sadly, the Conservative / Liberal co-alition won’t consider repatriation. Certainly the Conservatives have some right wing credentials but, unfortunately, not right enough.

Hopefully though, they’ll pull up the drawbridge, pull down the shutters and say “Sorry, we’re full up, go someplace else”

Also, hopefully, they will round up any and all illegals combined with any and all who have plonked themselves on our shores with no beneficial skills what so ever, and send them packing back to Somalia or wherever they’ve come from rather than allow them to remain and claim state hand outs that should be reserved only for British citizens and genuine asylum seekers – of which, incidentally, there are none.

The rules on asylum are very simple. You claim asylum at the first safe haven.

By that rule alone, we could kick out every asylum seeker as they have travelled through a number of ‘safe havens’ to get here.

That isn’t to say we shouldn’t take our fair share. The first ‘safe haven’ clearly couldn’t cope with all of them where ever it is.

That, at least, will appease many British people, particularly many English people.

Why?

Because England, at least, is not a naturally ‘left’ leaning country. It is a naturally conservative (with a small c country) and leans ever so slightly to the right. Socialism, which is our ‘left’ leaning section are a distinct minority.

Hang about. The Socialists let immigrants settle in their hundreds of thousands…the immigrants, in their gratitude, vote Socialist….and they thought we didn’t know?????? An eternal Socialist Left Government propped up by immigrants.

If that isn’t a nightmare scenario I don’t know what is!

The majority of English people hold views that the left wingers would consider hard right wing views.

They aren’t. They are ‘protectionist’ views.

Protect ‘our’ way of life, protect ‘our’ social structure, protect ‘our’ England.

All are welcome provided they do not ‘intrude’ their way or culture on us. Within the walls of your home do as you please, outside it is England and will remain English.

We have accepted immigrants since before William Shakespeare. The Jews have their own communities but are never intrusive on our ‘Englishness’. The Poles have their own communities but are never intrusive on our ‘Englishness. The African Carribeans have their own communities but are never intrusive on our ‘Englishness’ – and the odd occasion they are it’s with carnivals so who’s complaining?..;-)

The Chinese have ‘China Town’ but, outside of that are not intrusive on our ‘Englishness’.

All these groups of immigrants – who are now no longer immigrants as, generally, they are 2nd through to even 10 generation showed sufficient respect for us, the English, for them to be accepted.

Some Asian communities are intrusive but, generally, whilst their ‘ways’ can be, at least they do, on the whole, try to ‘rub along’ with us.

The Somalians and muslim communities are another kettle of fish.

Abrasive, insular and intrusive at the same time, respecting only ‘their’ way and life style. Fine if you live in Islamabad, not fine if you live in any town in England, and many other towns around Britain.

These are the ones to ‘sort out’ Mr Cameron. A straight choice. Fit in or F*ck Off. No middle ground. No compromise. This is England. You WILL respect that fact or you will leave. Voluntarily or otherwise.

If that’s racist or right wing then I, like millions of English people, am a right wing racist.

I suspect my Asian, African, Polish, Lithuanian, Slovakian, Irish, Pakistani and, indeed, muslim friends would be surprised to hear me described as such.

Still. The left tend to ‘tar’ anyone not of the left as Nazi’s of one kind or another.

Interestingly, a recent survey in Britain showed around 80% of British did not want Islam in this country at all.

We await your comments with baited breath Mr Cameron.

As for Mr Balls. I doubt even the loony left would be stupid enough to elect him as their new leader. Sadly. If they do, Labour will never recover. Oh! If only!
