Tuesday Poll – Is Elena Kagan Gay?

Elena Kagan, the president’s nominee to the United States Supreme Court is being grilled by lawmakers today as part of her confirmation hearings.  Here is her quick bio:

Elena Kagan is the Solicitor General of the United States and a pending nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Kagan was born and raised in New York City. After attending Princeton, Oxford, and Harvard Law School, she completed federal Court of Appeals and Supreme Court clerkships. She began her career as a professor at the University of Chicago Law School, leaving to serve as an Associate White House Counsel and later policy adviser under President Bill Clinton. After a nomination to the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, which expired without action, she became a professor at Harvard Law School and was later named its Dean.

She was appointed Solicitor General by President Barack Obama on January 26, 2009. On May 10, 2010, Obama nominated Kagan to the Supreme Court to fill the vacancy from the impending retirement of Justice John Paul Stevens at the end of the Supreme Court’s 2009–2010 term.

I don’t care one way or the other, what her sexual preference is. I have been enjoying old Jeffrey Beauregard Sessions getting his big boy panties into wads though. Not only a woman but Jewish and clerked for Marshall. It is the trifecta for that racist old fart, that liked the Klan till he found out they smoked pot then he doesn’t. Everything else they stood for was ok, but damn they liked a fatty once in a while and that was too much for that toady to deal with.

What’s ridiculous is the questioners trying to paint Thurgood Marshall as a radical. He did a lot, working entirely within the system. They make the obligatory “I’m not racist I don’t hate King anymore” statements then subtly discredit the man and Kagan by inference.
