Amid all the goings on in the world, with the Oil Spill and all the rest, I have to remind folks that the scams are still going on…beware…here is another one I got…WTF do I look as dumb as a stick of Chalk??? WTF!!!

You think you’re special. I just got an email from Kofi Annan today, informing me that I had been personally chosen to escrow an ungodly sum, and all he needed was for me to call and tell him my routing number to my checking account. I called all the judges I know and told them, in no uncertain terms, to go screw themselves because I will be retiring very soon.
It’s less to do with human stupidity and more to do with human greed, the good old something for nothing syndrome.
I have to admit, it sounds good sometimes to hear that you are finally getting what you are owed from life.
Otherwise known as the 419 scam.
I keep wondering… does anyone actually make any money off of this? Gee.
Unfortunately, yes they do. There is one site that turns it around on the scammers, stringing them along with the promise of a big payout for a long as possible.
They even have a “hall of shame” where they manipulate the scammer into holding up ridiculous signs, probably because their English is not so good. Mostly Nigeria…
I’m thinking the elderly are more victimized by these types of scams.
