In the Charles Dicken’s  A Christmas Carol, one of the exciting moments was when the Ghost of Christmas Present opened his robe before Scrooge and the two miserable children, “Ignorance” and “Want” were revealed.   The Ghost said “This boy is ignorance. This girl is want. Beware them both, but most of all, beware this boy.!”

Sound advice.  But what we’ve come to see over the years is that instead of bewaring the boy, Republicans have embraced him.

Republican economic policy has long since been shown to be nothing but give always to the wealthy while public debt grows exponentially.   The promise of wealth “trickling down” to the poor and middle class from the wealthiest among us appealed to the ignorant though.

Republicans understand facts mean nothing to the ignorant fools they exploit and con.  I still have yet to meet any law abiding citizen who’s had his gun taken away by the government.  Yet this myth about attacks on Second Amendment Rights continues to perpetuate and keep simple minded fools in the republican fold.

The simple minded are easily influenced by images of a scary black guy. Or a single mother, unemployed with three kids.  God damn them for taking welfare, but God forbid a farmer not get his welfare.  Or Exxon and BP get theirs.  Or the Mets not get a new stadium.  That’s different.   Let’s edit a tape so it sounds like a black lady is dissing  good hearted white folks. You know, like “us.”

The Republicans know that ignorance keeps them in power.  Young adults that graduate from college are now forced to live with their parents because so many jobs that were once available have been sent overseas.   They’ve been forced to take menial jobs.  I have first hand knowledge of this. Any Righties out there who want to challenge me, I welcome the opportunity to further expose your deluded views.

The Republicans are experts in playing to the “manliness” of fools.   It’s easy to say “Yeah!. Let’s go kick Bin Laden’s and Hussein’s ass! Let’s invade and show em who’s boss!”    The guys stirring up all these manly guys are for the most part “deferment whores” like Cheney who got five of them.    They did have the fore site to destroy the economy through lack of proper oversite so we’d have a steady stream of unemployed high school and college graduates who were unable to find work though.  They’re evil. Not stupid.

Republicans make a production out of going to church and looking lovingly at the little children in their little white dresses and little suits playing wholesomely while the adults try to look like Elvis posing for a picture on one of his gospel albums.  This plays well with religious zealots who care about nothing but outlawing abortion as long as it’s someone else’s daughter or wife.    By now anyone who’s paid attention understands keeping abortion legal keeps anti abortionists in the Republican fold.  Fortunately for the Republicans the anti abortionists are too blinded by images of Rick Santorum pretending to be pious to realize they have been duped. There is no way Republicans would ever allow abortion to be outlawed. It’s the key to the handcuffs they have on the Jesus freaks.

But just for good measure, Republicans, to constantly reinforce their message of  “Vote For Us. We’re Idiots Like You”  they make sure all their bloggers and talking heads call President Obama and his supporters “commies, pinkos, socialists and surrender monkeys” among other things, at least every third sentence.

Just as some blogging is “porn?” to many of us here at MadMike’s America,  hearing and reading crap about Obama being a “socialist” or Truth 101 hating America,  the idiots, bigots, zealots and homophobes who make up the base of the Republican party demand their porno in the form of right wing doublespeak and bullshit.    The image of Reagan’s bust on Mt. Rushmore has caused naughty feelings in the pants and panties of many a deluded right wing fool.

And just like the orgasms on the porn film are all fake, so is the message of the Republican party.
