AZ Republican Kyl says illegal’s kids should not be citizens

Read Time:36 Second

Screw the Constitution; Jon Kyl thinks it’s time to stop automatically giving the children of illegal immigrants born on US soil citizenship. The Arizona senator yesterday got behind Lindsey Graham’s call to repeal the 14th Amendment, reports CBS, saying, “the question is, if both parents are here illegally, should there be a reward for their illegal behavior?”

Kyl told Face the Nation that Congress should hold hearings to see if the amendment, enacted to protect slaves and their children, holds water in the 21st century. And while they’re at it, he thinks Congress should review his state’s immigration law. “I think the court’s decision was wrong,” he said. “I think it more likely that Congress could act to actually fix the problem.”

Kyl is an ass, but there is a significant drain on health resources caused by illegals. In one Texas hospital for instance 70% of the births there were to illegal immigrants. http://www.snopes.com/politics/immigration/parkland.asp

Arizona is full of retirees on fixed incomes, who will need to make use of social services that they perceive are strained to the limit providing for illegals. But you can’t just pull over and interrogate any brown skinned person of interest just in case.

There ought to be some type of reform enacted to ensure that just coming here and squirting out a baby isn’t enough to grant citizenship and all its benefits.

If they want to move here and work, let’s help them become legal. Those who are on the “legal” track who have children could have those kids recognized as native.

Jon Kyl is trying his best to unseat Jim DeMint as the Michele Bachmann of the Senate. It is not a distinction to be proud of!

“Screw the Constitution.”

That’s the way Republicans think.

Void the Constitution of birthrite and anti-slave wording. Right !

Now you are talking Nuremberg law delusions.

And that hypocrite claims to cherish the Constitution.
