God let them down…

Read Time:7 Minute, 3 Second

The question that has always been at the forefront is …Is there a God? The religious will hasten to reply, yes there is. When asked to produce or reference something that could prove God exists, the religious will tell a story from the Bible, Qur’an, Bhagavad Gita, Torah or some other religious text. Some will tell a story of something personal that has happened to them or something they were witness to that shows the existence of God is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt.

There are yet more religious followers who will show the wondrous sights to behold around the world or the children they have been “Blessed” to have. They will recall seeing their newborns for the first time, and being convinced at that moment that God exists. Some will tell that God saved them when they were drowning, when their house was on fire, they will say they were carried on his shoulders when he left footprints in the sand. He saved them when they twisted their ankle and was falling down, while they were holding their Family’s  precious and priceless crystal heirloom handed down for generations…by giving them the swift, superhuman reflexes to grab onto a chair or the staircase. There are many stories.

Did God exist on September 18th, 2010?  Why that day you ask? That is the day when a Church Bus from the Bronx in New York, had an accident on the New York Thruway…six people died and eight were injured…so far…Church people…Religious people. The dead included The bishop Titus White; his wife, minister Zelda White; and pastor Titus McGhie, among others. Now why would God do so many other wonderful things around the world, every second, and surely at that same moment, and not save the lives of these innocent, loving  people, who Feared him more than most…and maybe those who are still hoping to survive and are fighting the injuries they sustained in the accident. Can I pray to God to help them get better? Surely I can. Were these people Witches and Wizards who God disliked and that is why they were not saved? I think not. Maybe they did not pray to the correct version of him, maybe they should have been Catholic Christians or Anglican Christians…maybe…but I think not.

There were bombings in Iraq on September 19th 2010 as well…37 people died…so far. Why did the Muslim version of God not save these people? Were they bad people who fell out of favor with the Muslim God? I think not. The mere fact that these things happen would be quickly explained by the “Faithful” as God working in “Mysterious ways”. I think not…that’s foolish. No matter what the reasons are ,put forth that these people deserved to die, I can honestly say…bullshit. No God planned these deaths. No God prevented these deaths. I hasten to remind you, there were “miracles” happening around the world while these people were dying…or so the recipients of those “miracles” would attest. The fact that these people died proves beyond any doubt that God does not exist…certainly not for them.

When 800,000 innocent people of the Tutsi tribe were being hacked to pieces during 100 days of carnage and death, by the Hutu tribe in Rwanda in 1994, and their flesh later being eaten by the animals there…God did not smile to himself and say…This is good…because he was not there…he was not anywhere. The blind faith that the followers of religion are encouraged to have is just that…blind. Faith in a God is not a good idea, there is a joke, that says you do not know hell until you know religion. It really is all just religious mind control, meant to keep you fearful of all the imaginative ideas ancient man invented thousands of years ago…for the peasants and slaves. If religious people take a good look at themselves, and see the contortions and weird rituals they are purveyors of, they would be embarrassed. It is being reported today, Sept 19th, that there are multiple children missing in California, they are suspected victims of a religious “End of Days” cult…we hope they will escape unharmed…maybe God can show up and save them…I know many are praying for that very thing. I remind you the “Millerites” had the same delirious “end of days idea” in the 1800’s, when the world did not end, they spawned a few different Christian Denominations including the Seventh Day Adventists and Jehovah’s Witnesses.

I for one do not mind delirious people swallowing the religious ideas, but when the ideas influence different portions of the populace…like the Hutu machete gangs, or the folks in the Inquisition, the folks in the Crusades, The folks during the era of Christianization and when they influence our very children, to do stupid things in the name of some Fantasy God, it strikes too close to home to remain silent. George Bush spoke to God, and his decisions were based on his religious misconceptions, he and his friends made Billions… Jim Jones spoke to God, he killed everyone…David Koresh spoke to God, and the sex was good…Moses and Abraham spoke to God, I think they got land…God told Reverend Jones to burn Korans on  9/11, he got publicity…They all got something… This is my proof that God is just a Fantasy, and a business partner of sorts.

After the 19oo’s, when we finally came out of the “Dark age of Ignorance” and started to invent things and understand Science and the Universe, many continued to deny that God was a Fantasy…they refused to explore the wealth of knowledge that became available to them around the world, that could disprove their acceptance of this religious mind control. They still do today…and play with snakes, perform rituals to their Gods, speak in “Godly languages…or Tongues” and generally spread the decay of intelligent minds.

It is time to stop…You can be a God to your own families…if you be good people and that is all you need to do…be good to each other, just for goodness’ sake, and not a Fear of Gods.  God let those people die on Sept 18th 2010 because God is a Fantasy, God let them down because God does not exist…but you do, so recognize the difference and live… don’t subject yourself and your children to foolish religious ideas, instead… learn, research, there is a bright future ahead for the children, but it starts with us…don’t be fooled by the religiously delirious amongst us.

There will be Prayer services today… September 19th, for those who died…they will pray to God…the same God who let their loved ones die needlessly. They will pray for all sorts of things, even praying that the deceased left wills with lots of cash…no I’m not being cynical, my Grandmother’s priest closed her Bank account and withdrew over $100,000 from her account, less than a week after she died, so I know the depth of what I speak. Religious people will fool you, for many different reasons.

Jesus, our brother, not our God, who knew the folks were too stupid to understand the truth said it like this in Luke, Chapter 17, verses 20 – 2120Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, 21nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.” …meaning it’s all in your head…in your minds…it’s just an idea, not a reality. Don’t be fooled. Jesus did not start a religion, the corrupt Church did, after they murdered him and realized how profitable and powerful it could be for them. Learn, do the research, seek…for the benefit, and the future of your Children.

I believe in a Creator God/dess, but just not the god of religions/which is only a god in man’s image, I believe we were given all we need on this planet to do what we need to do, because man can do evil things does not change my belief in a Creator, and because humanity foolishly choose to live on coastal areas or on a fault line or a flood plain does not mean we have to blame god for all natural disasters. It takes more faith on my part not to believe in a Creator than to believe in one.But to each their own.
Blessed be

“Is there a God”

On the horizon is an approaching religious and cultural furore so contentious, any clash of civilizations may have to wait. On one side, a manuscript titled: The Final Freedoms, against all the gravitas religious tradition can bring to bear.

The first wholly new interpretation for 2000 years of the Gospel/moral teachings of Christ is on the web. Redefining all primary elements including Faith, the Word, Law, Baptism, the Trinity and especially the Resurrection. Questioning the validity and origins of all Christian tradition, and focusing specifically on marriage, love and human sexuality, it overturns all natural law ethics and theory. What history, philosophy, science and theology have agreed was not possible has happened and at stake is the credibility of several thousand years of religious history.

What first appears a counter intuitive challenge to the religious status quo is worth closer examination;  it carries within its pages a wisdom which the theological history of religion either ignored, were unable to imagine or dismissed. An error of presumption which could now leave ‘tradition’ staring into the abyss and humble all secular, atheist  speculation.

Using a synthesis of scriptural material drawn from the Old and New Testaments, the Apocrypha , The Dead Sea Scrolls, The Nag Hammadi Library, and some of the world’s great poetry, just as in the beginning, it describes and teaches a single moral Law, a single moral principle, a single test of faith, delivering on the Promise of its own proof; one in which the reality and will of God responds directly to an act of perfect faith with a demonstration of his omnipotence, an individual intervention into the natural world; ‘raising’ up the man, correcting human nature by a change in natural law, altering biology, consciousness and human ethical perception beyond all natural evolutionary boundaries. Intended to be understood metaphorically, where ‘death’ and darkness are ignorance and ‘Life’ and light are knowledge,  this personal experience of omnipotent transcendent power and moral purpose is our ‘Resurrection’, and justification for faith. From here, on a perfectly objective foundation of moral principle, conduct and virtue, true morality and ‘Life’ begins.

The first ever viable religious conception capable of leading reason, by faith, to observable consequences which can be tested and judged is now a reality. A teaching that delivers the first ever religious claim of insight into the human condition, that meets the Enlightenment criteria of verifiable, direct cause and effect, evidence based truth embodied in experience. For the first time in history, however unexpected, the world must consider the implications of a new claim to revealed truth, a moral tenet not of human intellectual origin, offering access by faith, to absolute proof, an objective basis for moral principle and a fully rational and justifiable belief!

This is ‘religion’ without any of the conventional embellished trappings of tradition. An individual, spiritual, virtue-ethical conception, independent of all cultural perception; contained within a single moral command and single Law that finds it’s expression of obedience within a new covenant of marriage. It requires no institutional framework or hierarchy, churches or priest craft, no scholastic theological rational, dogma or doctrine, no ones permission and stripped of all theological myth, ‘worship’ requires only conviction, faith and the necessary measure of self discipline to accomplish a new, single, moral imperative and the integrity and fidelity to the new Divinely created reality.

If confirmed and there appears both the means and an ongoing and growing concerted effort to test and authenticate this material, this will represent a paradigm change and advance in the moral and intellectual potential of human nature itself;  untangling the greatest  questions of human existence: consciousness, meaning, suffering, free will and evil. And at the same time addressing the most profound problems of our age.

While every day, from every television screen, newspaper, radio and web, the limitations of mankind are becoming both obvious and ominous by the failure to successfully address and resolve the most pressing problems facing the modern world, threatening humanity and the earth itself,  this revelation offers a way to cut the Gordian knot.

Providing the ‘means to ends’  this new teaching is asking humanity, choose the future you prefer? The status quo, where existing religious traditions, mired in their own contradictions, corruption, hypocrisy and hocus-pocus, offer little but pretensions and divisiveness, and where existing political process can only feebly respond to the growing chaos of more war, terrorism, economic turmoil, environmental degradation, injustice, spin and whitewash, natural disaster, plague and pandemic; or learn to comprehend that human nature, prisoner to its evolutionary root, exists within fixed limits of understanding, and by taking new personal and moral responsibility, in a single change of mind, heart  and conduct, by faith, transcend those limits and blow the status quo strait to oblivion.

Trials of this new teaching are open to all and under way in many countries, colloquial evidence already suggest confirmations are taking place. For those individuals who can shake off their existing prejudices, imagine outside the cultural box of history, stand against the stream of fashionable thought and spin, who have the moral courage to learn something new and will TEST this revelation for themselves, an intellectual and moral revolution is already under way, where the ‘impossible’ becomes inevitable, with the most potent, political, Non Violent Direct Action any human being can take to advance peace, justice, change and progress.

Published [at the moment] only on the web, a typeset manuscript of this new teaching is available as a free [1.4meg] PDF download from an increasing number of links including:

I don’t need faith to get by. I’m with the late great Earl Butz 4D. I just need good sex. A nice pair of shoes and a warm place to go to the bathroom.

I believe in God because I believe in God. I’m happy. So happy in fact that I’m happy to give my church $35 a week that I could otherwise be spending on beer.

Here’s to happiness everyone! And may God bless you.

Isn’t it wonderful how you are proud of perpetuating ignorance, religious indoctrination, anti-science, anti-intellectualism, bigotry, hatred, intolerance, and just plain stupidity! Why don’t you educate yourself in rational thinking and join the 21st century?

God/Allah/Buddah et al are all manifestations of sad people who need faith to get by.

I’ve no objection if it helps them get by.

In the highly unlikely eventuality of any of these characters existing they are clearly as sick as their devotees.

It’s all about us. There is evil and good in all of us. The choices we make determine the course we take. Good post.

Ah Teeluck my friend.

God didn’t hack up the Tutsis or bomb inncoent Iraqis. People did. The real question is did we let God down? Yeah we have. And sadly for those of us that believe, it’s the zealots of my ilk that caused these atrocities.

I’ve had this discussion countless times with people of faith. Men are capable of great evil on their own. They don’t need the devil’s help. We are capable of great acts of kindness without God’s help.

We have a free will. It’s up to each of us, not God or Satan or Vishnu or Zeus what we do.

I loved this, but then again I’ve been convinced for a long while that these mystical/spiritual/religious ideas are all in people’s heads and have no basis in objective reality.

Organized religion is man’s construct- used to control and manipulate other men. The quicker the world figures this out, the better off we all will be.
