Lloyd Price: A Really Cool Presentation Of “Stagger Lee”
From the annals of folk history Lloyd Price had a major hit in 1959 with this tale of two men who get into a fight over gambling which leads to one murdering the other. I think I loved the song from the first time I heard it with its upbeat rock and roll sound with great saxophone backing up the vocals. The video is actually a cool portrayal of the song with crayon colored cutout. Put your glasses on, turn up the sound and enjoy Stagger Lee.

Never heard of either him or it. TY old bean. I enjoyed that.
You are very welcome 4D.
I totally agree Stimpson. He was one of my favorites in the day. One of the things that still attracts me to Stagger Lee is that the song is derived from an old blue song by Mississippi John Hurt and is supposed to recount and actual event as many of the old blues songs often did.
Very creative video.
