Music Saturday was an experiment that sort of got out of control, albeit in a good way.  We ended up with over 30 posts last Saturday alone that were all music.  While a lot of fun this may do our readers a disservice as they come to MMA to find our usual mix of politics, breaking news, pet tips, commentary and etc.

As a result contributors are most respectfully asked to post one musical offering only on Saturday unless you want to put more than one selection in one post, which is easy to do, and then you can post as much as you like because it will be “all-in-one.”  Please do not post multiple offerings in separate posts as it slows down the site and that is not fair to our readers.

Keep in mind that musical selections are welcome any day, any time, not just on Saturday.

How about a theme where the lyrics were different than what everybody thought they were? Like that one “wrapped up like a douche” song, Blinded by the Light.

Mine has been and continues to be stupid people that think songs are for them, not so much misinterpreted lyrics. See republicans using Born in the USA as an example. Song is about Vietnan vets and their treatment when they got home and these idiots think it is all about actually being born in the USA. Know why, they didn’t look to the lyrics that’s why.

THANK you! I hate getting spammed off the front page by a long list of top 40 songs after I hunt for hours to find an unusual gem that ought to be discovered.

I’m becoming quite the 4D fan today–I enjoyed “White Trash Beautiful” (and the accompanying article), and now a Macy Gray reference. Nice!
