The Empire Strikes Back!

The Empire I speak about is the Grand Ole Party, of which Newt Gingrich is the new voice. Their shameful attempt of calling the President a con man, having all sorts of crazy ideas and trying to fulfill the duties of his tribe is seriously deranged. But that is exactly what people like Newt, Beck, Rush, Hannity, Malkin, Palin, Colter and those others who are too numerous to mention are. We see them slithering out of the woodwork as the elections come nearer and they are convinced that they need to take back the country.
This Empire of crazies are the same ones who made America the laughing stock of the world, not to mention we now hang our collective head in shame because of the loss of Lives Globally that we are responsible for having caused, with the wars Bush started and the recession which itself has resulted in the deaths of millions around the world, due to lack of medicines and other things the recession has caused countries to have less of.
Newt is quoted as saying, “What if [Obama] is so outside our comprehension, that only if you understand Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior, can you begin to piece together [his actions]?” on the conservative site National Review Online.
Eugene Robinson of The Washington Post writes, “His lunacy certainly seems genuine enough. It’s one thing to be a rhetorical bomb-thrower, as Gingrich has long fancied himself, and another to lob damp squibs of pure nonsense into the fray. The man’s contributions to the public discourse have become increasingly unhinged.”
The Grand Ole Party sees the opportunity to regain some lost footing so they have sent their fearless foot soldier Newt among others to stir the pot of mayhem. Add to this army of crazies Ginny Thomas, the wife of none other than Supreme Court Judge Clarence Thomas. She has surface recently as a vociferous and empty vessel of the Republican “empty headed” ways. One needs not look very far to find Palin, Beck and even Michael Steele in the “empty” category, focusing their snake eyes and spitting venom in the direction of the White House…a White House they all hope to claim in one way or another, as a prize, to give back to the Empire…The Grand Ole Party…of crazies.
I uncovered this letter written by Candace Gingrich, Newt’s GAY sister to him after the Prop 8 fiasco… you can find out a bit more about the Candace at this link, the letter reads thusly…
“I recently had the displeasure of watching you bash the protestors of the Prop 8 marriage ban to Bill O’Reilly on FOX News. I must say, after years of watching you build your career by stirring up the fears and prejudices of the far right, I feel compelled to use the words of your idol, Ronald Reagan, “There you go, again.”
However, I realize that you may have been a little preoccupied lately with planning your resurrection as the savior of your party, so I thought I would fill you in on a few important developments you might have overlooked.
The truth is that you’re living in a world that no longer exists. I, along with millions of Americans, clearly see the world the way it is — and we embrace what it can be. You, on the other hand, seem incapable of looking for new ideas or moving beyond what worked in the past.”
It is amazing that these words ring true for Newt and the Empire…The Grand Ole Party today, as it did back then…I am still looking over my shoulder expecting to see Darth Freaking Cheney and his set of vipers rearing their venomous heads.

The GOP seems to have cranked up the venom of late, although they hit the ground running after the 2008 election. They constantly portray Obama as anyone but an American, expect it to continue, it works for their base. How cynical they are, as SJ pointed out recently, saying things they don’t believe.
