Thousands of dog treats recalled-beware!

Read Time:23 Second

Careful what you’re feeding Fido, folks. A major pet product company—Hartz Mountain Corp.—is recalling 75,000 bags of its Hartz Naturals Real Beef dog treats, after a random FDA test discovered salmonella in at least one bag. So far there haven’t been any reports of animals falling ill, but Hartz is urging anyone who bought the tainted treats to throw them away. The suspect bags will bear the product code BZ0969101E, CNN reports.

Thank the gods that I am super-picky about what I give my animals. We’ve never used a product that ended up being recalled and I haven’t used Hartz in years because of their horrible reputation.

Humans are being poisoned, now animals. This is getting ridiculous.

I can’t believe there is even a market for anything Hartz makes. They have a bad record when it comes to making animals sick with their products. http://www.hartzvictims.org/
