Best Football Play of the Season

Read Time:32 Second

For the most part the regular football season is over, except for the National Football League of course. Because of the money involved they will drag it out as long as possible. The college games have only the conference championships and the endless bowl games before we must wait until the Fall to start all over again. While most of you have probably seen this little video clip somewhere I think it is well worth watching one last time as it is the most innovative play of the season. Sure, it is a kids game, but you just have to love the coolness of the quarterback here.

Jess, I assume he was pretending to step off yards like a referee.

I really liked Dan Marino’s fake spike to stop the clock.Only ones in on it were he and one WR.

Everyone has to stay on their toes at all times. You take no prisoners. Protect yourself at all times in the ring. Like the hidden ball in baseball. If it works that’s good shit. This is good shit. You can damn well bet the other teams will never let that happen again.

The thing about it is you usually only get to run those scams only once. My son used one in baseball when he was pitching, He would put the wrong foot on the rubber then pretend to go into his wind up with a runner on first base. Naturally the kid would take off and Shannon would then just turn around and throw him out. Piss every one off.

I am not a big fan of ‘trick plays’. But even those kind make ya smile on occasion. It’s bullshit that the game ended in a tie, but a win for the opposition. That part really pisses me off.

Reminds me of the ‘music city miracle’ play by Tenn on Buffalo. Being a Buffalo fan at the time..it chapped my ass.

Yeah, I agree. Bear Bryant used to say that a tie was like kissing your sister. But I love the part where the quarterback tells the linebacker he is marking off yards.
