Gene Pitney – 24 Hours from Tulsa
A blast from the past. I remember watching this on the old BBC program, Top of the Pops.
It was great then, but it makes me cringe now.
Is being 24 hours away from Tulsa that bad?
Krell and Dusty don’t seem to think so.
Enjoy

Now I listen to…wait for it..Everlast.
Thanks Robert. I think for its size Tulsa is a pretty nice city, but I am SO glad we moved to the small town we are living in now. It has a disproportionately assholerous population of petty tyrants, who inevitably end up in law enforcement or security. This might be a state flaw, actually.
(no offense to Mike of course, but it isn’t difficult to be prejudiced against cops when every last one you’d met in your home town was a douchebag. And we are WHITE so you can imagine how anyone of color must be treated! Lebanese men might as well carry a bottle of KY in their pocket- cos you KNOW they are getting all the airport security has to offer…)
I remember this song very, very well 🙂
