Has Bachelor Brad Womack finally found love?

Read Time:2 Minute, 0 Second

Now who couldn’t love this handsome hunk of man meat? There are millions of people that do so here is a story of love (maybe) for all you Bachelor fans:

According to E Online Brad Womack may not be the ultimate commitmentphobe, after all.

Despite bailing on two women on his first Bachelor go-round, and claiming to have found love in this season’s finale (although we don’t know if he pops the question), it turns out he actually tried to get to the altar with an ex-girlfriend—more than once.

So who was the, um, lucky lady?

E! News has confirmed that Womack attempted to give a real-life rose to Laurel Kagay, his on-off squeeze for nearly eight years.

In the latest issue of Us Weekly, Kagay, 31, says Womack proposed to her “countless” times over the course of their relationship and that the last time he tried to ring her was just weeks before he left Texas to shoot this season’s Bachelor.

“Even when we weren’t together, he would say how much he loved me and was going to marry me,” she tells the mag, adding that he continued to contact her through emails as he began production on the show.

So why is coming forward now?

“I’m sure the girl he picked would want to know that he was proposing to another woman right before he started taping the show,” she said. “I would want to know.”

A source familiar with Womack and Kagay backs up her, telling E! News that the two former lovebirds were in touch as recently as a few weeks ago.

“Everything Laurel said is true,” says our insider.

After Kagay and Womack split, she went on to date musician Wes Hayden, who appeared on season five of The Bachelorette. Hayden made headlines after he famously admitted that he had a girlfriend the whole time he was on the show. No word on whether that was Kagay or not.

Womack was apparently jealous of Kagay’s relationship with another reality star, says our source.

But Womack doesn’t seems over it, telling us he has found true love this time around.

“When I say I’m in love, I mean it with every bone in my body,” he told us earlier this season. “I am happier than I’ve been in 10, 15 years. Not a single [regret]. I’m very much in love.”

People, try Curb Your Enthusiasm. It’s great. Frasier is old, but good, as is Sienfeld.

Assuming The Bachelor is real, I don’t want real life. I want shows that are complete fiction and make me say: “That is so true,” as it reminds me of someone in real life.

It’s my guiltiest of pleasures.

Desperate Housewives used to be my “guilty pleasure,” but then I found out that everyone loves Desperate Housewives, so I was in the market for something new. 🙂
