When does Charlie Sheen appear on 20/20?

Read Time:1 Minute, 25 Second

Charlie Sheen talks with ABC News‘ Andrea Canning on a special one-hour edition of “20/20” to air Tuesday, March 1 at 10 p.m. ET.

Canning questions Sheen on his controversial remarks and his public feud with the CBS comedy’s creator, Chuck Lorre, which resulted in the hit show’s suspension, as well as his notorious headline-making actions.

Portions of the interview will air on “Good Morning America” on Monday and Tuesday, and throughout ABC News platforms.

“Two and a Half Men” had been on hiatus since January after Sheen entered rehab. CBS announced Thursday night that it had canceled the rest of the season after the actor’s scathing rant against Lorre on the radio program “Alex Jones Show.”

In that interview, Sheen said of Lorre that he must have embarrassed him “in front of his children and the world by healing at a pace that his un-evolved mind cannot process.”

He went on to call Lorre a “turd” and a “clown,” and he sparked accusations of anti-Semitism after pointedly referring to Lorre’s birth name, Chaim Levine.

The actor has denied the claims of anti-Semitism.

“I was referring to Chuck by his real name, because I wanted to address the man, not the [expletive] TV persona,” Sheen told the celebrity Web site TMZ.

“So you’re telling me, anytime someone calls me Carlos Estevez, I can claim they are anti-Latino?” Sheen asked ABC’s Canning, referring to his own birth name.

Sheen told Canning he is 100 percent clean and plans to show up for work despite CBS’s pulling the plug on this season’s production of “Two and a Half Men.”

I am with Jess here. Charlie Sheen lives in California and is there problem not mine. He is an addict. Pure and simple. He has asked to be left alone. So why doesn’t everyone leave him the ***k alone and let him go to hell in his own way. He has a father and a mother and a brother. If they want to worry about him fine. Otherwise he is a waste of paper, electricity, computer time, and air space just as are other addicts. Take the spotlight off Charlie Sheen, and Lindsey Lohan and they are just two more coke heads from L.A. going to hell in a hand basket.

Robert Downey Jr came a long way and the journey was tough but if he can do it, so can Uncle Charlie!

I loved his and Jude Laws little skit, with the dig at him, last night for his indiscretions. When Law said something about RDJ being caught with Batgirl in a hotel room, RDJ corrected him saying, (paraphrasing) pay attention to detail Jude, she was in a Wonder Woman costume, I forget which award they were presenting but it was quite funny.

Can I just say I am about sick of Charlie Sheen and Linsday Lohan’s coke problems, and wish people in the media would worry more about the country and its Koch problems. Which one of these two issues is worse? Hint, it’s not Charlie Sheen

So he is an addict, he’s got millions and can go get the help he needs or not his deal. Worked out well for Robert Downey Jr and some others, so he can shit or get off the pot as far as I am concerned.

Minor correction: The name on Chuck Lorre’s birth certificate is Charles, not Chaim, Levine. It’s incorrect for the post to state that his birth name is Chaim.
