Do you remember that pretty little blond university student who made a video about how much Asian students irritated her? Well here is the very entertaining response by one of those “Asian” people.

I wonder if the bimbo will come back and try and become even more famous?

I suspect not. No doubt she has suffered the wrath of the student body and has been humbled. Except for those very few who might support and encourage her…very few? America today? Not so sure.

Based on the CNN story, the girl has dropped out, and the guy in this video was saying that was unfortunate–that ideally, everyone could have picked up and moved past this. It sounds like she’s been targeted pretty harshly (including with death threats). The world we live in. 🙁

I hadn’t heard that she dropped out. Then again I’m not surprised.

not that I am defending her comments at all 🙂

Fully agreed, liberality. I don’t claim that my personal perception of social issues should set the agenda for all of (hu)mankind–and I know that it doesn’t, which is why I’m so surprised that this video response hasn’t gotten more criticism.

Nonetheless, it was a clever attempt to diffuse potential racial tensions…and the guy does have a nice voice.

Clever response, with a good combination of mockery and compassion. I was surprised that CNN featured this guy in a story, though, given the somewhat sexual nature of this video(though of course they left those parts out of their story)…and I’m surprised that the feminists haven’t jumped all over it.

As in my mind the concerns of racism trump those of sexism, though, more power to the guy. 🙂

Your opinion doesn’t make it right–discrimination is discrimination and gender discrimination, or sexism, is just as wrong as is racism.
