Georgia wants to kill women seeking abortions

Read Time:1 Minute, 7 Second

I am not surprised by the actions of Georgia legislators.  For the most part they are nuts and this legislation doesn’t change my view.  The Deep South is the “Heart of Darkness” and I know.  I live here.  Here is another story from the Heart of Darkness:

Legislatively speaking, some might say this year has been tough on women (see here, here, and here), but Jen Phillips thinks she’s found the bill that takes the cake: In Georgia, State Rep. Bobby Franklin wants to criminalize not just abortions—but miscarriages as well. His 10-page bill would make any “prenatal murder” a felony punishable by death or life in prison—and that includes miscarriages, in the event the woman cannot prove that there was “no human involvement whatsoever in the causation” of her miscarriage, Phillips reports in Mother Jones.

Franklin—who’s known for introducing unconventional bills and has also proposed calling rape and domestic violence victims “accusers” instead of “victims”—doesn’t define “human involvement” in the bill. That could be a problem, Phillips notes, since doctors still don’t know exactly what causes miscarriages. The bill would also mandate that women must protect their fetuses from “the moment of conception.” (Meanwhile, a Nebraska state senator proposes a bill that would make it legal to kill abortion doctors; click here to read.)

Franklin is a piece of work isn’t he? As someone who has suffered through two miscarriages, of very wanted babies I might add, I have nothing except anger at this assboil on the butt of humanity.

This is just a total slap in the face to 51% of the population in this country if you ask me and I am not an incubator so leave my body functions out of your damned legislation. How many states currently are working on making the Handmaid’s Tale come true right now? Rhetorical question no need to answer because it disgusts me. What man has to go through any of this stuff regarding their bodies? Again no need to answer me.

You go, girl! Why is it that the Repugs are more concerned with life in the womb than lives outside of it?
