Japanese Earthquake- who is really to blame?

Read Time:1 Minute, 55 Second

You might be tempted to bleat out some rational scientific reason. But wait! Don’t make up your mind until you hear all the evidence.

Boobs did it

Originally Boobquake began as an Facebook page started by Jennifer McCreight, a self-described “geeky, perverted atheist feminist” (and obviously my non-genetic twin)  who was disgusted at the comments made in the aftermath of the Haitian earthquake of 2010. Muslim cleric, Hojatoleslam Kazem Sedighi, stated:

Many women who do not dress modestly … lead young men astray, corrupting their chastity and spread adultery in society, which (consequently) increases earthquakes.

In order to test the assertion that cleavage in women leads to cleavage in the earth, McCreight started her FB/Twitter campaign:

I encourage other female skeptics to join me and embrace the supposed supernatural power of their breasts. Or short shorts, if that’s your preferred form of immodesty. With the power of our scandalous bodies combined, we should surely produce an earthquake. If not, I’m sure Sedighi can come up with a rational explanation for why the ground didn’t rumble. And if we really get through to him, maybe it’ll be one involving plate tectonics.

So, who’s with me? I may be a D cup, but that will probably only produce a slight tremor on its own.

This was in April of 2010. Fast forward to almost a year later, and we have an earthquake of enormous magnitude in Japan. Can we blame the boobs? After all, almost 100k people “like” the Boobquake page on FB.

I speculate that the tipping point for the tectonic influence of tata’s was achieved when China released this product:

God did it

Hey- it is as reasonable and explanation as the one offered up by this self-righteous little twat who wants to give all the credit to God, who she ironically refers to as “good and loving”.

They did it to themselves

But wait- could it be that Japan’s earthquake is really just karmic payback for Pearl Harbor? This looney bunch of hate-filled douchetards think so. Please report their FB group so it gets shut down!

I’m afraid you’re right about the boob clamp being the tipping point, or points. To check out this hypothesis, could someone correlate 19th century seismic activity with the rise and fall of whalebone corsets. (The related effect of the rise and fall of Southern bosoms upon the War Between the States is for another day.) A confounding variable might be the vibratory effect that whales’ low frequency vocalizations might have had on the seismic plates. Perhaps the whale songs provided enough vibration to cause more, but less destructive, seismic actions, serving a purpose similar to controlled burns in nat’l forests.

Funny, I didn’t feel any less atheistic watching the tragedy in Japan, just immensely sad for the people of Japan…nor did I feel my atheism falter upon hearing this loon talk about such an “amazing, awesome” god.

*sigh* I guess some of us atheists are just harder to crack than others?

I didn’t see the church lady as hateful, or evil, but she was the most stupid, ignorant person I have had the displeasure of viewing for quite some time. Either that or she is a Glenn Beck style performance artist.

Was that queezy, Japanese bra ad really 5-plus minutes long? I got the point after 2 minutes, hope I didn’t miss anything.

You didn’t watch the whole bra ad? What’s wrong with you.

I was hoping she was a Poe, but since there are 41 videos on her youtube page… ugh.

I won’t watch that video again today. It got my eyes once and does not deserve them again. Man, we women have some amazing powers don’t we? We can walk out the door and it sends some men into frenzies they can’t control. If only we could get that power harnessed to do good instead of evil, just imagine what the world would look like. Man but am I sick of idiots today.

Oh come on now. What’s wrong with a corset boobie spring clamp that makes laser noises when you squeeze it?

Oh you must mean that evil bizznatch in the video below. I seriously had to hold myself back on that one too.

That’s the one. I think anyone but anyone who takes any pleasure, and this bitch did, in the suffering of others for any reason is beyond disgusting.

that stupid, ignorant Bitch! To attribute the deaths of innocent people to God wanting to make a sign to Atheists that they should believe in Him? That would be a sign NOT to believe.

Sorry, the heartless arrogance of the woman just overwhelmed me.

How fucked up and twisted is it to pray for the destruction of innocent people and to revel in their misery and suffering? There are serious mental defects at work here and I’m not being sarcastic. There has to be some kind of psychiatric name for people who rationalize a love of death and destruction in religious terms. Jeezzus I’m gonna puke.
