Tulsa, Oklahoma to become center of Universe
Tulsa, Oklahoma on Friday March 18, 2011 will be the center of all things, when the mighty Jayhawks of the University of Kansas face the no-hopers from Boston University in the big NCAA men’s basketball tournament.
The State of Kansas do not have a professional sports team, so all of the love goes out to it’s college teams, especially KU basketball.
The Kansas City Chiefs (NFL), the Kansas City Royals (MLB) and Sporting KC (MLS) are all pretty close to the state line, but still in Missouri. When it comes to the passion of Kansas sport fans, KU is number 1. The University of Kansas is my wife’s Alma Mater, so under threat of death, I love KU too. Normally she doesn’t care about sports at all, kinda proves my point about their love for the Jayhawks.
