Naughty Newt to open presidential campaign this week

Read Time:1 Minute, 59 Second

Here we go again!  Yet another wild eyed Republican convinced that he can actually be president of the United States.  Serial husband, reborn Christian, and all around not very nice guy, Newt Gingrich believes that he can actually occupy the White house.

While he has his supporters, and no doubt some of those Hard Left Obama Haters might prefer him to the president, it is doubtful that Gingrich will make it through the primaries.  Regardless we are going to have such fun watching these wily wallowers navigate Iowa.

Here is more on this story:

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich plans to officially enter the presidential race early next week, he told Hotline On Call before Saturday’s White House Correspondents Dinner.

“I’ll be in by the 10th or 11th,” Gingrich said, without elaborating on where or how he would announce his candidacy.

Gingrich had previously hinted that his announcement could come this week, telling reporters in Philadelphia on Thursday, “I would just say to folks who are really curious: Watch Facebook and Twitter in the next week. I think you’ll have all the information you need.”

But Gingrich walked back from that statement on Saturday, explaining that he hasn’t yet completed the long and complex process of untangling himself from a web of business ventures that would complicate his candidacy in the eyes of the Federal Election Commission.

Gingrich spokesperson Rick Tyler cited those “business entanglements” and “contractual obligations” last week in explaining that Gingrich would not participate in the first GOP primary debate in South Carolina on Thursday. Participants in the debate are required to have filed paperwork for an exploratory committee with the FEC, which Gingrich has been unable to do.

Gingrich, whose campaign will be headquartered in Atlanta, will address the Georgia Republican Party’s annual convention on May 13. If he declares his candidacy earlier that week, Gingrich will have the rest of the month set up nicely for early state campaigning: He visits Iowa on May 20 to keynote a fundraiser for the Ida County GOP, and travels to New Hampshire on May 25 for a meet-and-greet reception at the Manchester home of former Senate candidate and conservative kingmaker Ovide Lamontagne, whose Granite Oath PAC is hosting a series of receptions for Republican presidential contenders.

Soon they will have no room left in the republican clown car with the people in it already. Now they have the whole, PO is good on getting things done security wise, to contend with after this weekends going on. Tee-rump will not be running, he won’t want his financials out in the open and well, he got his ass handed to him the other night as a joke of a candidate, so did crazy eyes Bachmann. I’m going to invest in popcorn and easy chairs tomorrow.

Now let’s get this straight.

Potentially you could end up with a President Newt – which is a small amphibian of the Salamandridae family,….

Or a President Trump – which is a British way of politely saying ‘fart’ or ‘passing wind from your rear end’.

If there is any sanity what so ever in America, Obama will be re-elected on this alone and bugger Osama!!!!!

Newt doesn’t have a prayer, and neither do any of those other lame-brains the republicans are putting up.

The Republican primary race is really going to be fun this year. I actually am looking forward to it. I don’t why Newt thinks he can be president but hell, everyone is welcome to their delusions.

You are certainly right about that. There are going to be so many ‘special’ candidates that I imagine it will be something akin to watching a train wreck of stupid. I would suggest turning the Republican debates into a drinking game where you take a shot every time one of the candidates says something idiotic, but I imagine it would lead to an epidemic of alcohol poisoning.
