Michele Bachmann’s Latest Gaffe:
John Wayne or John Wayne Gacy?

Bachmann’s malapropisms just keep on coming…

On the first day of her announcement of her candidacy for president Michele Bachmann once again slips on her “mental” banana.

michele bachmann

Way to go, Bachmann. Who else could mangle a campaign for president in the first day? And why should it matter because God after all wants her to run.

I suppose she should be lauded for her goals. She knows We cannot let terrorists and rogue nations hold this nation hostile or hold our allies hostile. (Or was that George Bush? I’m losing track?) And Bachmann clearly knows Republicans understand the importance of bondage between a mother and child., just like Dan “Tomatoe” Quayle.

The Washington Times points out one slight problem with the Tea Party. (Just one?) John Wayne with roots in Waterloo is John Wayne Gacy, a serial killer who was executed by lethal injection in 1994 after being convicted of 33 murders.

In Waterloo, Iowa on the eve of her official presidential campaign announcement, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) told Fox News that she has “the spirit” of (bigot) John Wayne.

The presidential hopeful—who was born and grew up in Waterloo as a child before moving to Minnesota&mash;said, “Well, what I want them to know is just like, John Wayne was from Waterloo, Iowa. That’s the kind of spirit that I have, too.”

John Wayne—the late movie star, director and producer—was born in Winterset, Iowa, but appears to have no specific connection to Waterloo.

She’s even funnier than George Bush, who I’m actually beginning to miss… maybe…

Perhaps she’s well qualified to run the country but as someone once said:

The most obvious expression of Bush’s choice of ignorance is that, at the age of 57, he knows nothing about policy or history.

At 55, neither does Bachmann apparently. She cannot discern whether the founding of America began in Concord, New Hampshire or Concord Massachusetts.

Michele Bachmann for, uh, president?

So tell us what you think?  Do you think Michele Bachmann is a sane, thinking person who is qualified to be president?

Thank you, Holte. I’m glad I found this site. Thank you for allowing me to share my opinions here.

Milton, you gaffe by thinking that these history errors are innocuous. If a governmental candidate does not the history of her/his country, one could note that the inability to learn about the nation they represent, in fact, demonstrates a clear lack of ideas, substance (Unless you consider helium a substance) and character.

By virtue of her birth and age she is “qualified’ constitutionally.

Everyone makes gaffes. If you and the msm think spending time hunting for a misspelled word or innocuous history error rather than focus on ideas, substance and character then I pity America if your candidates win election.

Welcome to Dorothy Anderson, nice to know you are Michele Bachmann fan, just like me. Bachmann’s big mouth and the willingness to talk and talk is going to get her in lots of trouble with Independent voters.
