Michele Bachmann Stands Out
Michele Bachmann
is leading the pack after
Monday’s debate in New Hampshire
After watching last night’s debate among the Republican primary candidates, it was quite obvious that Representative Michele Bachmann stood out as the most forceful and ardent supporter of conservative values.
While Mitt Romney was Governor of Massachusetts, and Rick Santorum was representing Pennsylvania in the Senate, there was a capitulating bipartisan approach to their way of doing business. Since then it has been proven we don’t need to succumb to democratic whining and threats to achieve the conservative agenda. The democrats under President Obama have always backed down to the will of the silent majority and a solid and unanimous republican party.
Michele Bachmann true to her convictions
At the forefront of this revolt against liberal, anti-American idealism has been Representative Michele Bachmann. She is articulate and most of all, true to her convictions. She supports the call for less government and fiscal discipline of the Tea Party. And she also supports a strong defense of our Nation. And most of all, while Santorum was working with democrats on either a prescription drug program that was a budget busting precursor of the abominably socialist “Obamacare”, Romney was working with liberal Massachusetts democrats on his version of “Rombama care”, which is bankrupting the State.
Of course the candidacy of former-speaker Newt Gingrich is a publicity ploy to help him sell books. I couldn’t vote for him anyway, as he his a twice divorced cad and lecher. Morals do matter. And while Herman Cain has much to offer, Governor Pawlenty let himself down by crumbling a little when finally face to face with Governor Romney. He missed an opportunity to publicly call him out for his socialist Romneycare, this made me question his backbone and strength of character and commitment to true conservative ideals.
I of course like Congressman Ron Paul, but at this stage of his career and life, I feel he is better suited as an adviser, mentor and moral compass than presidential material.
This leaves Michele Bachmann. Strength of character, family values and ideals. She fought Obamacare before it became law. She will protect the rights of individuals and help business by trashing burdensome regulations and taxes. Her voting record proves she is on the side of America.
I could definitely support Michele Bachmann for President of the United States.
I think Romney has the edge because he has spent the most time building and financing his organization. If he is the nominee I’ll support him as I believe he would be the lesser of two evils.
Bachman’s championship of issues important to conservatives through her presidential campaign would raise her influence and ability to get these issues through Congress. it’s a win win situation for conservatives whether Bachman succeeds or comes up short. She will definitely have a positive impact on the Republican primaries.
Uncle Miltie I rarely get into any type of serious discussion of presidential politics where the Repubs are concerned this early in the process but in the case I will make an exception. Michele is another Sarah only brighter and her chances of actually becoming the nominee is closely akin to to pigs flying at high altitude. It might happen but not without a plane and an oxygen mask.
The businesses that drive our economy demand consistency in government policy. Michelle Bachman has been consistently a voice for pro business, economy growing, job creating policies.
Her consistent loyalty to pro business values would indeed make her an excellent president.
Miltie you are pretty much clueless if you actually think MB could be an effective president.
Milton you are full of it. Jeez.
I’d rather focus on issues that matter today rather then subjecting everyone to a history or geography quiz.
Henry Ford, one of our greatest industrialists, had little practical knowledge of history, yet he built one of the most successful companies in the world.
Personally, I’ll take the person with good ideas and values over an elitist bookworm.
Henry Ford gave his workers an 8-hour day and paid them twice the going rate and in return Ford got loyalty. He understood people and business, Bachmann is just apolitical opportunist who is using the poor saps in the Tea Party.
She is a little more educated than Palin, but who isn’t. She still needs to take a history lesson. She has made some major gaffes. The founding fathers tried to abolish slavery and the location of Lexington for instance. She would not survive the scrutiny without making a fool of herself.
He was more like fawning all over her because every time someone would mention her name he would rush to remind them he was the one who found her and should get all the credit. Idiot hypocrite is Chris M.
Perhaps Chris Matthews isn’t as blindly partisan as I thought.
Even Chris Mathews was gushing about her, claiming he “discovered” her after her first appearance on Hardball.
