Mormon Mitt makes Massachusetts Mischief with Presidential Bid
Romney Makes Bid for First Mormon Presidency
Says Obama has failed country on economy
Mitt Romney, the architect of Universal Health Care 1.0, is trying to distance himself from Obama’s health care plan, which was modeled after his own Massachusetts plan. The whole point, of course, has been to line himself up for the Republican presidential nomination. Unfortunately for this misguided Mormon, the Democrats are onto him. They released a video comparing Romneycare with Obamacare about the same time as the “I’m running for president” no-surprise announcement was made.
The whole Obama has done a terrible job and we need to repeal Obamacare platform is really little more than a charade, because regardless of what Mormon Mitt does, the nation’s Christian voters, and there are lots, and lots of them (they elected Bush remember), will never support him as president as they consider Mormons “crazy.” The same less than fond descriptor could also be applied to potential candidate Jon Huntsman.
So, Mitt, run if you will, but lose as you must, because you are really just another Mormon without clothes. Here is the official “Mitt for President” story:
Surprise, surprise: Mitt Romney is officially a candidate for president in 2012. He is at this moment launching his campaign with a speech that goes after President Obama on the economy. The big takeaway line from early excerpts, according to the Boston Globe: “When Barack Obama came to office, we wished him well and hoped for the best. Now, in the third year of his four-year term, we have more than promises and slogans to go by. Barack Obama has failed America.”
Romney also will take another stab at distancing Romneycare from Obamacare by repeating his demand that the federal plan be repealed so states can figure out their own solutions. Democrats aren’t wasting any time: The DNC released a video this morning called “Romney: Same Candidate, Different Positions.”
We would love to hear your thoughts about Mormon Mitt!
The best campaign ad I ever submitted to local party elders called our opponent “Flip.” Goody two shoes assholes wouldn’t let me use it. I should take it out of the closet and see if the DNC would use it against Flip Romney. He was for everything till he was against it.
This guy would make a good hypnotist. Listen to him for one minute and you’re fast asleep.
