There has been much back-and-forth among the left/hard left since Barack Obama was elected president. The argument as they would tell you is that Obama has not been “left” enough. And there is good reason for this. I have never been one of the hyper partisan haters of President Obama. I actually believe him to be very bright. I have been proven correct in this belief by his actions regarding tax policy and national defense.
President Obama had the good sense to support continuation of the Bush tax cuts. He had the good sense to keep Guantanamo open. He has the good sense to support free trade deals that will open markets and create jobs. He had the good sense not to just pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan right away, giving terrorists an easy path back into power. Thus making the hard left angry.
This has created a rift among the left, since the sensible ones that defend President Obama’s continuation of Bush policies are also the focus of vitriol from the “hard left.” This rift plays into the hands of my Republican Party, as many on the hard left will either stay home next election day, or waste their votes on some kook like a Ralph Nader.
Republicans controlling all three branches of government would eliminate wasted time pandering to left-wing fringe groups and we could get on with the business of making America safer, stronger, and a more perfect place to do business.
Hard left or sensible left?
I also credit those on the right with keeping our message at the forefront. Since I requested a place on the author board of MMA, I can tell my message of freedom, pro-business, and a return to moral values, has had an effect. The arguments among the hard left and the more sensible left thinkers have become more intense.
This is obviously because the sensible ones understand what I’ve been saying and are silently embracing my values. But their devotion to left-wing political correctness prevents them from coming out and telling, the abortion on demand, socialist, let kids run wild, hard left to shut the hell up and open their eyes.
With God’s blessing I hope to continue spreading the message of freedom and moral values at MMA. I look forward to more of those on the left opening their eyes and joining me in this crusade.

How is it right wingers can’t speak without conjuring up a god. I guess 2000 year old thinking still pollutes their brains.
I don’t know Rick. Maybe they keep trying to spell dog but they are dyslexic.
President Obama saw the right’s point of view on several issues and kept them in place. I think that is enough to validate my premise.
I understand how a few of you would want to be on record here attacking me for telling the truth about the left and hard left. Or “Kooky left” as I would more accurately describe them but the editors would censor that if it was in the post. You have to maintain your credibility so you don’t lose half your Facebook friends.
Only you will know how you voted. Just remember to bring a photo ID.
I get what you are saying is that silence is the same as acquiescence. I would disagree. I for one am a leftie but understand that an effective politician is not magic and best spends his or her time making change that manifests in the long run by exercising a great deal of pragmatism. That does not make me the “moral” equivalent of a stodgy Republican.
Your conceit and inability to see others point of view, runs rampant throught the republican party and is exactly why you will lose again to a more humble man that sees that there are two sides to every argument and has an open enough mind to listen to the other side.
We’ll remember this a year November and see if you still have your hubris.
ROFLMAO Uncle Miltie! Someone has slipping something in your your morning coffee my friend. You keep having these delusional dreams whilst the Tea Party and the traditional Repubs tear each other to shreds in their primaries and when you wake up to realities Obama will still be President. As for you having people silently agree with you please remember that silence is like if a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound? Answer, probably not.
I agree, this guy is something else, silently agreeing is another way of saying, falling on deaf ears.
