Mark Zuckerberg joins Google+

Millions of people around the world tried to join Google+ this week, so many, Google had to call a halt to enrollment due to “insane demand”. But Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg could have been one of the lucky ones. There are rumors that it could be a spoof, but it wouldn’t surprise if it were true.

Google+ = Facebook-

Google’s Vic Gundotra said: ‘There was insane demand. We need to do this carefully, and in a controlled way.’

He did not specify when people will be invited to join Google+ again.

The social networking tool is similar to Facebook, allowing people to add profile pictures and connect with friends, but it also connects with Google staple websites like its search engine and Gmail.

But the main difference is that a user’s friends or contacts are grouped into ‘circles’ – rather than just having a giant pool of friends like on Facebook. Hell, I am ready to shut down my Face Book. I have too many people who are friends of friends of friends of friends who what to be my friend and I personally don’t want that damn much attention. I have about decided I don’t want that many people knowing what I do. This social networking thing is getting out of hand.

Bill why do you tell them what you do? I comment on other people’s post, and post MMA stuff, and good stuff from other sites. Once in a while I might drop something personal but not that often. You are, after all, in control if you have your privacy settings configured properly.

I was one of those who tried to join but got the message that they were full at the moment. How does that happen with Google?
