Religious fanatic murders his 6 daughters

Read Time:1 Minute, 6 Second

Religion, like supply side economics, is dangerous nonsense

Religion will kill you.  It has killed millions and will continue to do so, perhaps one at a time, but relentlessly and recklessly nonetheless.  The worship of mythical beings and the at random interpretation of so called religious tenets exacts a terrible toll on those who buy into such nonsense.  More importantly it can destroy the lives of those who prefer not to practice the silliness that is organized religion.

religious fanatic kills 6 daughters

Here is an example of religion gone wild in the third world nuclear power that is Pakistan:

A Pakistani man gunned down six of his daughters on suspicion that two of them were in relationships with older boys in the neighborhood.

Arif Mubashir, 40, shot the teen-aged girls after his son told him that they were dating boys who attend a nearby college in Faisalabad.

Mushabir unregrettably admitted to police that he had killed his daughters because they were both “without honour.”

The father said he shot the other daughters, because they “sided with each other.”

Police took Mushabir into custudy, and filed a case against him, according to The Express Tribune.

He does not regret what he did. He boasted that he would do it all over again if he had to,” Police Inspector Javed Sial told reporters.

That seems to be the norm in that part of the world.

More prevailent, perhaps. I would stop short of calling it the norm. Thank you Michael for including ‘at random’ in your post.

Do it in the name of Heaven and you can justify it in the end.
