According to taste-tracking website Hunch what you eat can give away who you favor politically. They cross-referenced millions of responses to a survey. Here are some of their findings.

The favorite french fry of conservatives comes from McDonald’s, while the average liberal would rather have a bistro-style fry — and they are much more inclined than conservatives to cut out fast food altogether.

Liberals are likelier than conservatives to enjoy beer, and a lot likelier to serve wine with meals, while conservatives prefer soda.

If you’ve got a liberal coming for dinner, Hunch suggests serving curry chicken with a glass of wine — unless your guest is one of the 10% of liberals who are vegetarian, compared to 3% of conservatives. If your guest is a conservative, try serving meatloaf with mashed potatoes and soda. If you’re looking for a meal both sides can agree on, pepperoni pizza with a garden salad and a glass of water is your answer.

Liberals are slightly more likely to prefer their vegetables fresh instead of cooked, and a more likely to eat fruit at least once a week.

Conservatives tend to believe there’s little nutritional difference between organic and processed foods.

Conservatives favor either cereal for breakfast or skip the meal altogether, while liberals lean toward toast or bagels.
