We have solar on the house and I have to say it makes my heart happy when I see the carbon savings to the environment adding up on my meter. It also makes me happy to see the utility bill almost halved in two, this past year. I wish it was on every rooftop, but I know it is not feasible for many people due to the cost.
We just have to keep calling our reps, telling them to give some love to renewables the way they do for big oil. Too many of the people in leadership positions, get their funding from big oil and I think that is a big reason they don’t want to take those subsidies away.
