Daily News Nip: Crazy Rick Santorum wants to attack Iran

We will need a lot of help if a Republican is elected president but divine intervention will be required if Rick Santorum should miraculously win the keys to the Oval Office.

Rick Santorum, the former United States senator from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, told MSNBC’s Chris Mathews on Hardball,  that he would wage war with Iran if they continued to pursue nuclear power.

Santorum, a lawyer who believes in the religious myth of creationism, while eschewing evolution, science, abortion, homosexuality, and animals, went on to say that Iran presented a clear and present threat to Israel, the United States and the world, despite the claim by candidate Ron Paul [in an earlier debate] that Iran barely had a functional air force and couldn’t deliver a nuclear weapon if they actually had the inclination.

Santorum went on to say that President Obama embraced Iran’s Ahmadinejad and the Mullahs during the election uprising of last year, and did nothing to help the protesters, like he did in the Middle East.  When questioned closely by Mathews, who objected to Santorum’s statement, he stood by his accusation and said if he were president he would have used whatever means necessary to support the protesters against the Iranian government.

I’m no fan of the looney bins running Iran’s government but wage war on them?  Oh yeah! That’s what we need to do.  Let’s face it Rick Santorum is one seriously scary dude!
