Find out where you are in the 99% range?
OK. I’m a 99 percenter but would rather be a 1 percenter. I’m not going to lie about it.
There are the haves (1%) and the have not as muchers (99%). While I have a lot, an island and a private jet would be nice. I doubt I have much of a chance of crossing that threshold but you never know. You guys could always help me out by clicking those Google ads.
So find out where you are on the scale:
How strongly do you identify with the “We Are the 99%” slogan? It’s the Wall Street Journal to the rescue, with a nifty little tool that allows you to plug in your salary and see what percentile you’re in. (It’s based just on salary, not total wealth.) Use it here. If your salary is somewhere south of (SPOILER), you are indeed a 99-percenter and free to post something on Tumblr here. You lucky 1-percenters can go here. And you OWS skeptics can go here.

Well, this little exercise left me feeling exceedingly average. 🙂 Hint: I am not a “one percenter.”
If you were, you would continue to shop at Aldi’s 🙂 🙂
I tend to dislike the 1%-ers because they tend towards being shallow and believing money makes them important.
Being a 99%-er brings me much better company.
About that private jet? Nah, but flying First Class would be great, after a trip on the Trans-Siberian Railway.
