Liberals attack Herman Cain-Who are the bigots now?

Read Time:1 Minute, 28 Second

Attacks on Herman Cain show it’s the left that are the bigots.

Herman Cain is now famous for his 999 plan and the totally unwarranted attacks on his character over incidents that happened twenty years ago.

The charges of sexual harassment against Mr. Cain are spurious at best.  As a former employer I realize that sometimes circumstances are manipulated or such that a settlement is the cheaper and faster way to solve a problem.  Depending on the court or arbitrator, an employee who is guilty as sin can win just because of a judicial, pro-labor bias.  That is the way of it with the left in general.  They will believe anything bad they hear about someone who doesn’t adhere to their ideas.  They are particularly hard on minority politicians from thinking it is traitorous for a minority to not be slaves to left wing dogma.  Thus, Herman Cain is enduring savage attacks from the left leaning media over incidents that we have no information on and no eye witnesses.  All we have are reports of two women who shall not be named and confidentiality agreements.  No blue dress here folks.

Herman Cain is an honorable black man who is being vilified more for not acting the way the left believes a black man should act. He supports a tax plan that is fair and everyone contributes to. That angers the left as they demand the people who drive our economy pay an unreasonable amount in taxes to pay for the services enjoyed by those that pay no income taxes.

Cain supports the rights of the unborn and the Second Amendment which the left abhors.    But as I said, Cain’s greatest sin to the left is being black and not one of them.

Milton, Cain is not qualified to be president.

As far as any sexual escapades, I don’t give a damn who’s sleeping with whom. I didn’t care when Clinton did it, if a Republican does, and what ethnicity they are. It’s none of my business. They’re human. Just about every person in power screws around. So what?

Harassment is a different: again, this is not a conservative or progressive attitude. I believe Anita Hill, not because of Thomas’ ethnicity, but because of the evidence against him.

His story involves years of women being sexually harassed in the workplace. I worked in a department store at 16, and my boss cornered me in the linens area. I was able to get away from him and went home. I told my dad.

My dad went and gave him a “talking.” I lost my job the next day.

These statements, which have nothing to do with ethnicity, tell me why Cain is singularly unqualified to be president.

* He views China as a military threat because they’re trying to develop nuclear capability. They already have. If China is a threat, it’s economically. A Republican Congress created NAFTA, and a Democratic president signed it. And I still haven’t forgiven Clinton.

* He said he would support Israel if Iran attacked. “…although we won’t have to use ground for this — submarines, ships, that would be strategically placed in that part of the world.”

There is no ocean in Iran. The closest bodies of water are the Red Sea and the Persian gulf. Their military would first have to go pass Dubai, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain. Iran also borders on the landlocked Caspian sea.

* He said “stupid people” are running America. Anytime a person vilifies an entire group of people–whether by ethnicity, gender, sexual preference or political party, that’s< bigotry.

* He calls Occupy protesters “jealous” and “anti-American,” that the Obama Administration created the movement to divert attention from its failed policies. He makes no mention of Congressional GOP members, who openly admitted they will overturn every bill Obama proposes to keep the president from reelection out of office. Is that not bigotry?

* He asserted African-Americans are brainwashed into being liberals. Isn’t that a prejudiced remark? The irony.

* He said Ron Paul is executing a deliberate strategy because he attends several events and asks the same stupid question, trying to nail him about the Federal Reserve. Despite the fact that the Federal Reserve is not a government agency, shouldn’t a presidential candidate be able to address these questions?

* Let’s consider his crazy cowboy ad and his creepy smile at the end of it.

* Cain stated if he were president, he’d build an “electrified” 20-foot high US-Mexico border fence with a sign displayed “that says it will kill you.”

* There was his 9-9-9 plan, appropriated from a Wells Fargo bank clerk who pinched it from SimCity. The plan has been shredded by economists on the left and the right. Now, he has a 9-0-9 plan. Did that come from Grand Theft Auto?

* Ubeki-beki-stan?

* Here’s one of my favorites:

“I’m pro-life.”
Any exceptions, like in cases of incest or rape? Life of the mother?
“Those are statistically so small as not to really count. No. No exceptions.”
If it were your granddaughter?
“Comparing apples and oranges.”
How so?
“Just is. The government has no place in this kind of decision.”
But that’s a pro-choice stance.
“Is not. I am pro-life. End of story.”

Now, call me a bigot. If you do, it’s because you are prejudiced against me because I’m a liberal.

“Herman Cain is guilty of being a successful black man in America who doesn’t cowtow to the democrats. That makes him even more a hero.”

Believe me, there is no way in god’s blue earth that the Democratic Party would want Herman Cain. You’re welcome to him and his awful pizza.

“Herman Cain is guilty of being a successful black man in America who doesn’t cowtow to the democrats. That makes him even more a hero.”

Cain has proved through his own whacky words that he hasn’t a clue about governing or conducting himself as a serious candidate.

Each time he was called on his nonsensical ideas, he claimed he was only joking.

How can you take a man seriously for president when he keeps telling you his ideas are all jokes?

You cannot possibly take him seriously.

“So because Clinton went through a smear campaign, much of which was his own fault for his serial womanizing, it’s okay for the liberal media to attack Herman Cain Shaw Kenawe?”

You apparently did read what I wrote. I wrote about the smeaar campaign against the Clintons that claimed they were murderers–and especially the smears against Mrs. Clinton that claimed she was a lesbian AND Vince Foster’s mistress. You completely ignored those facts about rightwing smears.

“Two woman who are unnamed and a sealed confidentiality agreement which is a normal business practice in many dismissals makes the left clamor that Cain is guilty.”

Wrong. No one knows if Cain is guilty except Cain and the three women who accused him of sexual harassment, and no responsible person has said Cain is guilty.

What actually happened to Cain is that a political blog reported THE FACT that he was named in a sexual harassment suit and a settlement was made to two women. That is not a smear. Those are facts. What I wrote above re: the Clintons, THAT is a smear campaign, and it was perpetrated by the rightwing smear machine.

“Herman Cain is guilty of being a successful black man in America who doesn’t cowtow to the democrats. That makes him even more a hero.”

Mr. Ornbridge, you are truly walking the world with your eyes closed. I included those hard lefties in my comment. Unfortunately, you assume you know everything such as that my name is Ranch. What a fool you are. How did you make make it to your mid-thirties making so many foolish assumptions.
I need another break from this place. I thought it was safe to wade back in but I afraid your undertow of ignorance will drown my or at least drag me into a waste of my time. I was at least partially right. Bye!

Please don’t walk out man. I and others enjoy your wisdom and yet are astonished at your reaction to Mr. Thornridge. You could do a lot more good by simply entering into the debate and posting a comment than you would by leaving.

“Cain’s greatest sin to the left is being black and not one of them.”

No. I’m afraid you’ve got that all wrong. Cain’s greatest sin is that he’s not a serious candidate for president. His appalling lack of basic knowledge is an affront to people who take presidential politics seriously. Cain has been unable to answer serious questions about foreign policy, and he’s back peddled his wacky answers on abortion, immigration, and holding prisoners in gitmo. IOW, he’s an incompetent running for a very serious position.

His race has nothing to do with any of this. As a Liberal, I’m angry at a man who would make a joke out of something as serious as running for president.

His personal behaviors concerning women is now in question. The media simple reported the facts. There is no smearing in reporting facts, as conservatives did exactly the same thing concerning Mr. Obama and his association with Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers.

You seem to have forgotten how a real smear machine {the GOP}tries to destroy politicians: It was the GOP and its operatives who claimed the Clintons were murderers, and that Hillary Clinton was a lesbian while at the same time Vince Foster’s lover. And let’s not forget Troopergate where 2 state troopers were each paid $6,700 to reveal Bill Clinton’s peccadilloes. Now I ask you, why would officers of the law need to be paid $6,700 to tell the truth?

So you see, sir, this isn’t a “high tech lynching” as the Cain supporters have whined, it’s politics, and the conservatives are a bit–no, gigantically hypocritical about what they’ve been engaging in since Lee Atwater taught them every dirty trick in the book.

Ok so signs with Obama as witch doctor = good

Reporting on sexual harassment involving Cain, that actually were settled =bad

I swear the GoOpers must tie themselves in knots trying to keep up with the crap they are slinging. Oh but wait, according to Ann Coulter their blacks are just way better than liberal blacks. Milton keeps that going with his, he is an honorable black conservative bullshit that doesn’t behave like liberals want him to as if there is a certain way for anyone to behave, black, white brown or other. To be expected though, from a party that still thinks Cain belongs to them, you know, he’s one of the good ones, not uppity and shit. Just sayin’ is all.

You make elite sound like a dirty word and yet most of the people financing the GOP are elite.
The left has never attacked President Obama personally, in fact the are not attacks at all they are us representing what is important to us and complaining about policy decisions. We don’t question his his citizenship or ability.
I don’t hate Herman Cain, I think he is either ignorant or a fool just like Palin, Bachman and several others in the GOP and a few in my party.

One thing that Herman Cain proves conclusively:
In America, you don’t have to be intelligent to get rich.
