The answer is always Ronald Reagan

Read Time:1 Minute, 44 Second

While I still have my doubts that Herman Cain actually harassed any women 20 years ago, I have grave doubts now about his ability to be our president.

The liberals that infest MMA have had their field day making fun of Herman Cain’s non reply to how he felt about President Obama’s handling of the Libya situation. There is no shame admitting he handled it correctly and had President Bush handled Iraq in much the same way Obama would most likely never became president. But Cain botched it. I’m not sure he even knows what Libya is after watching his response. This shows a man totally unprepared to be president. Or hold a major federal elected office of any kind.

Michele Bachman is also proving to be, for lack of a better or classier way to put it, nuts. China is neither a capitalist country or a democracy.

The answer when any republican is faced with a question they have no answer for is to simply say “Ronald Reagan.” Had Cain said “Ronald Reagan” he would have been fine. Reagan ordered the bombing of Kadaffi’s house. Nothing wrong with that at all. Bombing terrorists is always the right thing to do.

When a question about economics a candidate may not understand or thinks is a trap or trick question simply say “Ronald Reagan.” Foreign policy should bring the same answer should a question be presented a candidate is unsure of.

This article is not meant to be any kind of satire. It’s purpose is to stop giving the left fodder for negative ads. You don’t attack Ronald Reagan and Mother Theresa.

We face an uphill battle against Obama in 2012. And frankly, considering his moves, I won’t be too disappointed if he wins another term as he has continued policies from the Bush presidency with which I agree. President Obama doesn’t need our help. And we certainly don’t want to give him a landslide victory by nominating a candidate so abysmal he doesn’t even know where Libya is or China is not a free market democracy.

Reagan has a legacy so distorted by the Conservative idolization of him that we may never have a clear picture of the real man behind the television set beyond the elaborate myth now concocted around him. Did he really rid the world of commie scum? Did destroy or save our economy? Check out my portrait of The Gipper in commemoration of the Reagan Centennial and help me figure it out on my artist’s blog at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/02/happy-100th-gipper.html

I don’t mind attacking Ronald Reagan and certainly don’t give a crap about Mother Theresa. Her ship sailed a long time ago. As to Obama he will win a second term. None of the Republican pretenders had a chance against him.
