The Big Bang Bothers Bible Bangers

Read Time:1 Minute, 2 Second

The Bible Banging Jesus Jumpers are beside themselves as the evidence against creationism continues to mount.

The very idea of the earth being built by a “God” only 6,000 years ago is ludicrous and laughable under the most ideal of circumstances, but the evidence of an infinite universe is becoming more and more likely.

The story summary:

Astronomers have caught a first-ever glimpse of gas clouds as they existed just a few minutes after the big bang, the Los Angeles Times reports. These clouds—long gone by now, but still visible to us—contain light elements like hydrogen and helium, which condensed into stars during the first few hundred million years of the universe. These stars “must have looked very different from stars formed today—they would be much bigger and very short-lived,” an astronomer says.

The stars eventually forged heavier elements through nuclear fusion, then exploded and spread throughout the universe—seeding fresh gas clouds that eventually became the stars we know today. Scientists are a little rattled by the find, saying they thought such early gas clouds had dispersed too long ago to be visible. Maybe, they say, they’ll have to reevaluate how matter moves between galaxies and throughout the universe.

Does anyone seriously think facts will have any effect on the religious reich? If facts and rational thinking were of the least influence on them, they would case to be religious.

Instead, they prefer lies, myths, and wishful thinking. Nor are they adverse to using obvious, even to them, falsehoods to promote their agenda to everyone else.

Personally I don;t care what absurdities they believe. I resent them demanding that everyone else believe them, too.
