The Penn State Pervert
By now everyone has heard of the allegations of sexual abuse against former Penn State assistant coach Joe Sandusky.
There was even an eye witness who said he saw Sandusky performing anal sex on a ten year old boy in a shower.
When Coach Joe Paterno heard the allegations he said he reported them to his superiors. And that was it. Ten years ago. And all these well heeled, men of integrity and Penn State pride. Trainers of men and champions. Pillars of the community and above all, pieces of crap.
Everyone whom I’ve seen report on this story has rightly expressed outrage, but their first thoughts were always at the victims and the hope that they were okay. And that speaks well for us that the first concern was for the kids this bastard was supposed to have abused. But does it really speak well for us? That it took ten years for this to come to light? That the people who knew about this put the institution of Penn State and it’s wonderful football program and legendary coach ahead of the well being of a group of children abused by someone in a position of trust and authority.
The Roman Catholic Church has gone to great lengths over the centuries to keep sexual abuse quiet to protect the institution. Companies and organizations go to great lengths to pay off victims in return for confidentiality agreements to protect their institutions. The name Herman Cain ring a bell Mr. Thornridge?
People of power and influence, whether they be business or community leaders or politicians are unanimous in saying our most precious resource are our children. So we saddle the next generations with debt they’ll never be able to repay. Give them an economy in shambles and a government infested with nuts who hate government. And to add insult to injury, put the “good” name of institutions above the safety and well being of that which we’re all supposed to agree is our most precious resource. Our kids.
A football program’s good name is more important than protecting abused children and punishing their attacker? Sorry Coach Paterno and anyone who reads my contributions to MMA for sports talk and opinion. My opinion is a kid is more important than any sport or school’s “good name.”
I’ve got to say this makes me SICK. When I think about the pain of this huge ugly sweaty ugly bastard did to those innocent little children and no one did nothing; hell, one even witnessed him butt slapping the children going at it, I want to scream what is wrong with ALL of you at PENN STATE???? What??? What if it was your little brother??? Can you imagine the rectal tears, the pain he did to them??? God, evil Msucker. Little boys who will always remember this–will they be gay? Will it effect them the rest of their lives? I say yes…I say bring them all to the public square and castrate each one of them and hang their genitals for public viewing for all perverts to see what will happen to child molesters. Now I hate PENN STATE along with Vermont (sanctuary for pedophiles).
This will be a sad and sorted ending to an otherwise legendary career of Coach Joe Paterno (JoePa).
Thanks for the story. I have to say, I’m usually not into sports-related news, but twice today I’ve arrived at various destinations but stayed in my car for a while to listen to the commentary surrounding this case–the fact that there were several eye-witness encounters over the years, and the man was never arrested, is just lunacy.
I keep hearing reporters asking what would Joe Paterno do? Who gives a crap? I don’t care about Joe Paterno, Penn State, reputations and etc. I care that this person be brought to trial and properly punished, along with those who help cover up the crime, if found guilty.
