Merry Christmas Liberal Sheep

The liberal left is patting it’s collective self on the back after House Republicans allowed Obama’s payroll tax cut to go through.
Most of the liberal pundits and bloggers are euphoric that this thing is a victory for Obama and left over the “mean” republicans. The true fact is it’s the Republicans who are trying to save Social Security while Obama and his minions are dancing in the streets over a measly two month extension of a tax cut that from what I’ve seen has done little to nothing to stimulate anything but the egos of left wing sheep.
It should come as no surprise that there is a spurt of economic activity. It’s Christmas. And with lay away now back in vogue, retailers count the unfinished transactions as sales so of course Kmart is having a good season. But the fundamental problems of debt and overspending continue and instead of focusing on those things, Obama will continue his war of propaganda on sane fiscal policy with payroll tax cuts whose effects will be felt by those retiring in future years; long after he has won his propaganda war.

Milton you are just marching down the party line. You probably sleep with a picture of Eric Cantor. As soon as the Republicans understand that they are not going to reduce the deficit just on the back of the middle class the better off we will all be. They have made this clear by fighting the payroll tax cut since most multi millionaires aren’t on a payroll. The Republicans in congress have made it clear and have even said it publicly that their mission is to defeat Obama even if it hurts the American people or the economy. While I will agree that Obama is far from perfect he still way ahead of any of the leaders in the Republican primary. If you Republicans had any sense at all you put Jon Huntsman in as the Republican presidential candidate and I believe you win the the White House hands down. However, you folks are letting the far, far right lead you around by the nose and they will ultimately ruin your chances winning the presidential election. They will possibly even cost you some of your congressional seats.
