Colorlines: Race in America’s 2011

Read Time:34 Second

Twelve months have now passed since the dawn of 2011 and lots of media outlets are looking back on the tumultuous trail left behind.

In what amounts to a rather compelling trailer for their website, Color Lines produced a 90-second short film recapping the most important race-related stories of 2011, providing a short survey of a year that broke down many barriers, but also built many up.

The website, a publication of the racial justice think-tank Applied Research Center, provides daily coverage of race-related issues such as immigration reform, social injustice and economic fairness.
