Muslims: What some are wearing these days

Read Time:32 Second

We’re constantly clubbed on the head with the claim that the Muslim world condemns 9/11, abhors 9/11, etc. – Yet every day shirts like this are mass produced, marketed, and sold by street venders throughout the Middle East and it seems to be OK.

A few weeks ago, however, a few of our guys, after months of sleeping on the cold ground, eating MREs, not having a good hot shower, and away from their loved ones, get caught piss’n on a couple of dead  Al Qaeda murderers and they are condemned by the world.

I’ll stick to my FSM shirt, thank you! Much less controversy. When people ask me what the FSM stands for, I tell them, ‘Freethinking Scientific Male’
and then laugh! They stand there with a blank on their face! LOL

I know this is a bad analogy for so many reasons, but I suspect that somewhere in the U.S., street vendors have sold shirts along the lines of “We got ’em!” with a picture of bin Laden with a target on him. Of course, ours were probably straight-up t-shirts, where it looks like the Middle East has taken one more step toward kitsch with a Hawaiian-eseque style for its death celebration shirts.

I want to make clear that I am NOT supporting clothing that celebrates murder of thousands. I just suspect that it’s a very small handful of individuals who are buying these shirts for their novelty value, not because they are heartless, but because they are tasteless and classless.
