Decapitated Snake Bites Homeless Man
Strange things things happen every day down here in the South and it is clear that every time some type of disaster happens news reports search until they find the dumbest of the dumb to interview for their take on the tragedy.
You may doubt this, but it is true. As further proof we have, as Mad Mike likes to call them Krazy Kristians, who regularly use snakes in their worship services. They call it taking up the serpent. Others in the South follow the Biblical tradition of killing snakes because they supposedly tricked Eve. Yep, snakes in the South talk to people, at least to women. Well, here is a case where a snake apparently said enough is enough is enough. I will let you figure out how a snake with no body managed to bite this idiot.
A homeless Alabama man was playing with the head of a decapitated venomous snake when it bit him, sending him to the emergency room.
Multiple media outlets report that residents of a Mobile homeless encampment chopped the head off of a snake that had crawled out of a creek on Wednesday.
Forty-one-year-old James McMahon put his finger in the snake’s mouth when it bit him. WALA-TV reports that the snake was believed to be a cottonmouth.
McMahon tells the Press-Register of Mobile that he hid scared from EMTs until they left. However, paramedics were called back when McMahon began to show the effects of the venom.
McMahon was treated at the University of Southern Alabama Medical Center and released. He was able to return to the encampment by Wednesday afternoon.
Just for your general information venomous snakes retain venom in their fangs and it is known that if you handle one after they are dead and you scratch yourself with the fang you can invenomate with a small amount of venom but not likely enough to be fatal. But why would any idiot would pick up the head of a recently killed snake and put his finger in its mouth.
But stupid is as stupid does.
