Militants Kill Afghan Soldier at Rampage Prayer Service

Read Time:1 Minute, 37 Second

Afghanistan is not a civilized country, at least not by Western standards, but then again the wanton slaughter of innocents by an American soldier isn’t exactly the hallmark of civilization.  Regardless, when their own people are mourning those who lost their lives in this terrible slaughter, Afghans are shooting at them.

America doesn’t need to be in this place.  We are never going to be successful in imposing democracy on a country so lacking in the basics of life, such as freedom, education, medical care, and etc.  Afghanistan embodies the dark ages, and that appears to be the choice of the people.  Give them what they want and withdraw our troops as soon as possible.

Militants opened fire on a prayer service for the 16 people killed in a US soldier’s shooting rampage this weekend, targeting a visiting government delegation that included two of Hamid Karzai’s brothers, along with senior defense, intelligence, and interior ministry officials. The militants fired from a distance, killing at least one government soldier and wounding two other people in what turned into a 10-minute firefight, al-Jazeera reports. “Bullets were coming like rain on us,” one witness was quoted as saying.

The delegation had been visiting the site of the attack to explain to locals that it was an isolated incident, one lawmaker tells the AP. “But the people were just shouting … They didn’t listen to the governor. They accused him of defending the Americans.” Such anger is widespread. In Jalalabad today, 2,000 students took to the streets shouting, “Death to America! Death to Obama!” The Taliban, meanwhile, issued a statement warning the US that it would “behead your sadistic murderous soldiers” to avenge the rampage, Reuters reports.

Set aside enough money to help clean up the mess we made, and get the HELL OUT.

Fighting over whose god is the right god to worship and whose god has the biggest penis seems to be an issue with all religious men. Too bad one of the thousands of gods worshiped over man’s history wouldn’t come out of hiding and say, “Here I am, the one true god for everybody to worship.””Now start getting along.!” Every person on the planet would immediately give up their god and worship this one since he actually interacts on a personal and a reality based agenda. But, then again, who in their right mind wants to worship and be a slave to any kind of supernatural or real manifestation.
