Mitt’s Menu – Eat while you can

Mitt Romney to face President Obama in the Fall is looking more likely by the day, although his GOP opponents refuse to make it easy for him.

Jeb Bush pledged his considerable influence to Romney this week, a sure sign that the republican establishment has decided that none of the others in the race are capable of winning enough delegates. A brokered convention is still a mathematical possibility, but the only person with the arrogance to jump in at that late date would be Sarah Palin, but surely, even she is not that stupid, is she?

Romney took some heat for the Etch-a-Sketch remark made by one of his aides, but truthfully it was a correct analogy. All republican candidates have to reach out to the far right to get the nomination, then play footsie with the center to have a chance of the presidency and Romney will do this without blinking.

So what would a President Romney bring to the table for the American people to feast on? Firstly, he would have pay his financial masters back, probably to the tune of $1 billion before its all over. All the best cuts of meat, the freshest fruits and vegetables will be gone. Everyone else will get crumbs.
