George Zimmerman’s father is defending his son’s actions as well as chastising a number of individuals and groups, including the president, for spreading hate.

Zimmerman family has no shame. They now expect a financial windfall. They can go back to where they had been living. They can go to their jobs. They can stop cramming their lies down our throats. We don’t have to pay a sick someone or his extended family because he chose to commit a heinous crime. His defense is really – God made him do it – BS!
Robert Zimmerman is out of his mind.
All one has to do is read the president’s remarks on the shooting [which was in answer to a direct question to him by a reporter] to see that the elder Zimmerman is deliberately misrepresenting the president’s words. The elder Zimmerman was a Virginia Supreme Court Magistrate? Really? And he is spreading a malicious lie about what the president said? Imagine the sort of jurist he must have been. Sounds like he has some serious reality issues, or he’s just another rightwing deranged Obama hater.
Interesting.
The hatred that I see is hatred of the system that allows a man to take the life of the 17-year-old boy without consequences! I don’t see people expressing hatred for George Zimmerman, icy hatred for the – the particular law that he is presenting in his defense that allows him to kill without recriminations, and icy hatred for the particular interpretation of said law! We HATE this situation, and we hate the lack of responsibility!
